Emotional Keystone Pipeline Worker Points Out Pipelines Safer Than Trucks And Rail

Kleptomaniacs in Washington, DC shed no tears for fired oil and gas workers just as they shed no tears for paradise defiled by 600' wind fraud monstrosities.

Emotional Keystone Pipeline Worker Blasts Biden for Firing Workers ‘by Signing a Piece of Paper’

Crabtree posted about it on his Facebook page: “I got laid off for political reasons and stupidity and the future doesn’t look so bright. I’ve got a sickening feeling in my stomach … I went to my…

Energy Genius John Kerry to fired fossil fuel workers: Build solar panels

John Kerry, the Biden Admin’s Special Presidential Envoy for Climate, has a message to oil and gas workers: make solar panels.

Joe Biden killed tens of thousands of jobs his first day in office when he canceled contracts with the Keystone XL pipeline and waged a war on the energy business.

This is just the beginning — millions of…

Help wanted

I am working on a couple of proposals that I need technical help with.

First I am working on a complete process for recovering the chemicals in solar panels at end-of-life. I have drafted legislation for this to be effective (mandatory) and would welcome scrutiny.

The other is a new mode of transportation (maglev) for which I need to estimate the savings in CO2 and the potential to benefit from TCI or whatever exchange is finally adopted.

I would also like some…

It's time to dig this up again. Watch my right hand - - - there is nothing to see in my left!

It is really not important that this is a political issue and whether you support Biden or Trump . . . . It is an issue of real science vs. pseudo-science developed by international economists to control the economic imbalance of the world. It is a New World Order plan to transfer wealth, not improve the climate or save the world from "Climate Change" which is an undefinable quantity. They knew this when it was developed and have continued to deny their own facts with…

Maine Four Year Plan for Climate Action

From the "Maine Climate Council".

Note that one of the photos chosen for their slick report features the Vinalhaven turbines which tortured those in nearby homes, forcing at least one couple to abandon living there. Insensitive? Incompetent? In your face?

Next step for Maine’s climate goals: Proposed laws to make them reality

EXCERPTS:

Dozens of ideas being promoted by lawmakers this year represent the next phase of state government's aggressive effort to address a rapidly changing climate.

"Overall, they would lead to a wholesale shift in the way power is used and generated, expanding renewable energy and electrifying the transportation and heating sectors, a process called beneficial electrification. It’s a transformation being pushed in other Northeast states, including…

Mills proposes 10-year moratorium on offshore wind

In a bid to defuse opposition and avoid conflict with Maine’s fishing interests, Gov. Janet Mills proposed a series of actions Monday to advance a floating wind research project planned for far offshore in federal waters, while protecting the near-shore waters valued for lobstering and coastal tourism.

In a letter to licensed commercial fishermen, Mills announced that she will ask the…

The 13th Extension of the Wind Power PTC

By Robert Bradley Jr. -- January 21, 2021

“The PTC is the single most expensive energy subsidy in the federal tax code and is estimated to cost taxpayers about $40 billion from 2018 to 2027.” (IER, January 5, 2021)

“Special government favor to business–crony capitalism–can turn losers into winners. And the loser lobby can claim progress and even inevitability as if they really won. This is the postmodernism of energy policy today in regard to the two…

Federal appeals court calls halt to some work on CMP hydropower transmission line through western Maine

January 15, 2021

Shortly after the New England Clean Energy Connect project to bring Quebec hydropower to New England received its final major permit Friday, expecting to begin construction on the $950 million transmission line soon, a federal appeals court hit the brakes on the most controversial part of the line.

The court granted a temporary injunction sought by opponents ordering the company to stop work on the entirely new section…

Robert Bryce: Warren Buffett’s Iowa Wind Power Expansion Derailed By The Bridges Of Madison County

The significance of Madison County’s rejection of Big Wind goes beyond Buffet, Berkshire Hathaway, and Iowa. Since 2015, by my count, 291 government entities from California to Maine have rejected or restricted wind-energy projects.

It’s nearly impossible to build wind projects in California. Between 2013 and 2019, the state …

In the Maine woods, preparations signal imminent start of CMP power line project

In court papers Monday, the developer says access road plowing started Monday and construction is expected to begin on or about Jan. 18.

After three years of dispute and debate, and despite ongoing court challenges and a pending voter referendum, work is finally set to begin to create a 54-foot-wide path for hydroelectricity from Quebec that ultimately will be earmarked for customers in Massachusetts.

In court papers filed late Monday, the president and…

POOR ECONOMICS AND MINIMAL CO2 REDUCTION OF ELECTRIC VEHICLES IN NEW ENGLAND

This article describes the efficiency of electric vehicles, EVs, and their charging loss, when charging at home and on-the-road, and the economics, when compared with efficient gasoline vehicles.

In this article,

Total cost of an EV, c/mile = Operating cost, c/mile + Owning cost, c/mile, i.e., amortizing the difference of the MSRPs of an EV versus an equivalent, efficient gasoline vehicle; no options, no destination…

Maine Center For Public Interest Reporting – Three Part Series: A CRITICAL LOOK AT MAINE’S WIND ACT

******** IF LINKS BELOW DON'T WORK, GOOGLE THEM*********

(excerpts) From Part 1 – On Maine’s Wind Law “Once the committee passed the wind energy bill on to the full House and Senate, lawmakers there didn’t even debate it. They passed it unanimously and with no discussion. House Majority Leader Hannah Pingree, a Democrat from North Haven, says legislators probably didn’t know how many turbines would be constructed in Maine if the law’s goals were met." . – Maine Center for Public Interest Reporting, August 2010 https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-power-bandwagon-hits-bumps-in-the-road-3/From Part 2 – On Wind and Oil Yet using wind energy doesn’t lower dependence on imported foreign oil. That’s because the majority of imported oil in Maine is used for heating and transportation. And switching our dependence from foreign oil to Maine-produced electricity isn’t likely to happen very soon, says Bartlett. “Right now, people can’t switch to electric cars and heating – if they did, we’d be in trouble.” So was one of the fundamental premises of the task force false, or at least misleading?" https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-swept-task-force-set-the-rules/From Part 3 – On Wind-Required New Transmission Lines Finally, the building of enormous, high-voltage transmission lines that the regional electricity system operator says are required to move substantial amounts of wind power to markets south of Maine was never even discussed by the task force – an omission that Mills said will come to haunt the state.“If you try to put 2,500 or 3,000 megawatts in northern or eastern Maine – oh, my god, try to build the transmission!” said Mills. “It’s not just the towers, it’s the lines – that’s when I begin to think that the goal is a little farfetched.” https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/flaws-in-bill-like-skating-with-dull-skates/

Hannah Pingree on the Maine expedited wind law

"Once the committee passed the wind energy bill on to the full House and Senate, lawmakers there didn’t even debate it. They passed it unanimously and with no discussion.
