Not That We Didn't Already Know, But Going Green KILLS!!!

The Green New Deal, being promoted worldwide, is causing famine, inflation, trade problems . . . . you name it . . . issues that are confounding and have to be reversed.…

It's time to dig this up again. Watch my right hand - - - there is nothing to see in my left!

It is really not important that this is a political issue and whether you support Biden or Trump . . . . It is an issue of real science vs. pseudo-science developed by international economists to control the economic imbalance of the world. It is a New World Order plan to transfer wealth, not improve the climate or save the world from "Climate Change" which is an undefinable quantity. They knew this when it was developed and have continued to deny their own facts with…

Here We Go Again . . . . New News from OUR Governor!

Governor Mills is at it again. With all the shortfalls in government funding facing Maine in the age of Covid, Janet has decided this is the time to put turbines in the ocean 20 - 40 miles offshore in an experiment to see if they are viable. She is supposedly partnering with the…

Vermont is Listed as the State With Highest "Renewable" Portfolio

Our friends at AOL business just published a list with all 50 (or is it 57) states and how they stack up as far as "renewables" are concerned. Vermont is # 1 and Maine is # 5. Interesting, however, is the fact that all the top 10 list HYDRO as the reason they are renewable winners. The ones touting wind and solar are in places where there is little running water and are much further down the list. I think we are missing a huge opportunity to take Maine back to a state where hydro powered…

Denmark’s Anti-Wind Problem: Wind News Update Lisa Linowes

Everyone always hears the windies speaking highly of the way Denmark is making all their energy with wind power. Well, that's not entirely true, and it looks like the bloom is off the Rose. Seems they only produce 38% of their energy from wind and that dropped because they decommissioned more turbines than they built. They have a land mass a little bigger than the state of Maryland and wind turbines, covering a great deal of the land and the waters surrounding it only produce 5.2 GW of…

Delingpole: Climate Mafia Caught Tampering With Evidence Again…

They are at it again. They have found a new reason to manipulate the dataset for their bogus AGW Climate Models.

“Correcting for problems caused by the decaying of satellites.” Yup. We’ve all been there haven’t we? One minute you’re heading innocently down Highway One to look at the cute sea otters, the…

Maine Audubon hires longtime L.L. Bean executive as new director

I wonder if the members of Audubon really know the depth Audubon is into the Wind Industry's pockets.

With the way Andy Beahm describes his absolute wonder and appreciation of the beautiful Maine Wilderness and what it has meant to the way he was brought up and the the way he continues to see it, it is perplexing how he can throw his entire being into an organization like Maine Audubon that has sold its soul to destroying the environment. By accepting huge grants from the wind…

Message regarding EPA - - - - This is my post.

The EPA and DOE have been highly instrumental in crippling the economy in the United States. The entire "Climate Change" scam was developed to "fundamentally transfer wealth" from the US to the rest of the world. That quote is directly from the former Co-Chair of the IPCC, Ottmar Edenhofer, a pro Marxist ECONOMIST, not a scientist. The sooner we can extricate ourselves from the Paris agreement and the UN-IPCC, and get our scientists out from under the blanket they…

Wanna' Know Why Our Electric Bills Are So High???

Whenever we end up commenting on articles found in our PPH or BDN there are always twits on there that tell us "Why don't the fossil fuel industries give up their subsidies?" Well here is some ammunition for you to use when commenting back.  Hopefully these subsidies will dry up and make the "Renewable Energy" sector have to stand on their own two feet. Won't it be nice?…

Earth Day Predictions That Failed - - - A few good laughs

An Article that should prepare us for questions from any AGW enthusiasts we may run in to. Just try asking them to explain a few of these 97% consensus predictions from the first Earth Day in 1972. You should get a few laughs.

U.S. wind industry now employs more than 100,000 people!

U.S. wind industry now employs more than 100,000 people!

This may be more baloney from the wind shills at the PPH.  They also say there are more than 260,000 people involved in the Solar Industry. I am really hoping that the elimination of subsidies to these industries will stop this madness. I know there are not that many here in Maine, but ONE is too many.…

Published Comment to DOE . . . Please submit one by March 22!

Here is Mine:  I had help from Long Islander and Chris O'Neil and only hope it makes a difference with the New DOE.

Comments on Monhegan Island Offshore Wind Project to DOE

This is to call your attention to a situation in Maine which I believe is a poster child for how the forgotten American is being robbed and disrespected by the renewable energy special interests and their coterie of shills. As you will see, there is a time sensitive element to…

Newly Installed Wind Turbines in Plymouth, MA Causing Problems.

As I originally lived in Plymouth, I am very familiar with the location of these turbines put up last summer in a residential section on the Bourne/Plymouth line.  At the time the residents were assured by the developer that there would only be good things from the installation.  There would be no appreciable noise and no ill effects. Of course these were all lies and now the residents are up in arms.  The government is not really supporting the residents at this point just as it happened in…

Did anyone see the article about pictures from the Hubble Telescope that showed how the Giant Red Spot, a violent storm that has been seen on Jupiter since we have had telescopes that cold see it?  Over the last 50 or so years it has shrunk to almost half its size.  I was about to write a snarky article about global warming but got to thinking about something interesting.

I'm pretty sure there are no living beings on Jupiter that can be accused of…

Scientifically Challenged

I have a new argument for those who choose to believe that Global Climate Change is "Settled Science".

How many of those same people believe that "Gravity" is settled science? It is NOT SETTLED SCIENCE!!!!! It is in fact a THEORY. It is a theory that has been challenged by the likes of Albert Einstien and others that I'm almost SURE are more scientist than the hacks at the IPCC and NOAA. I would put them miles ahead of pseudo scientists like the other Albert, Albert GORE.

I think…

Is This Global Warming?

Is this Global Warming???

The climate alarmists are telling us that climate change is not dependent on one or two special storms or one or two seasons that don’t fit the norm, yet every time there is a special storm, it just further proves Climate Change is going on. When the weather people run through all the letters of the alphabet naming hurricanes they say “See, this proves Global Warming!” When they only use a few names, again they say “See.” I’m still not sure how they can have it…

Reply to BDN Reply to Me

Why is it that these people have to go back more than a century to the old "Oil Barons" and what they did before all the rules and EPA regulations took effect.  The oil companies employ almost as many people as the government and pay them with PROFITS made the old fashioned way.  They have overcome the rules and regulations and still make 3 - 5% profit every year.  Yes, that's a lot of money, but a very small percentage.  And all those profits get plowed back into research…

CMP Transmission Rate Skyrockets 19.6% Due to Wind Power

Maine Center For Public Interest Reporting – Three Part Series: A CRITICAL LOOK AT MAINE’S WIND ACT

(excerpts) From Part 1 – On Maine’s Wind Law “Once the committee passed the wind energy bill on to the full House and Senate, lawmakers there didn’t even debate it. They passed it unanimously and with no discussion. House Majority Leader Hannah Pingree, a Democrat from North Haven, says legislators probably didn’t know how many turbines would be constructed in Maine if the law’s goals were met." . – Maine Center for Public Interest Reporting, August 2010 https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-power-bandwagon-hits-bumps-in-the-road-3/From Part 2 – On Wind and Oil Yet using wind energy doesn’t lower dependence on imported foreign oil. That’s because the majority of imported oil in Maine is used for heating and transportation. And switching our dependence from foreign oil to Maine-produced electricity isn’t likely to happen very soon, says Bartlett. “Right now, people can’t switch to electric cars and heating – if they did, we’d be in trouble.” So was one of the fundamental premises of the task force false, or at least misleading?" https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-swept-task-force-set-the-rules/From Part 3 – On Wind-Required New Transmission Lines Finally, the building of enormous, high-voltage transmission lines that the regional electricity system operator says are required to move substantial amounts of wind power to markets south of Maine was never even discussed by the task force – an omission that Mills said will come to haunt the state.“If you try to put 2,500 or 3,000 megawatts in northern or eastern Maine – oh, my god, try to build the transmission!” said Mills. “It’s not just the towers, it’s the lines – that’s when I begin to think that the goal is a little farfetched.” https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/flaws-in-bill-like-skating-with-dull-skates/
