UNCENSORED comments from Arthur Qwenk RE: LD 828

Although certainly better than what was there before, l see more potential problems with LURC being involved .Whose f...ing state and constitution is it anyway?

That depends on the voice of citizens, too weak and disconnected as of late.

LURC will  merely become wind's graft target and whore, and become financially beholden to their scam. That is why the bastards , in the final moments ,tried and succeeded in amending it in…

Japan says wind is too unstable and costly and lowers its future use at G7 Meeting

"Solar and wind power generation are too unstable and costly to provide more than marginal power generation capacity, especially given the need to extend power grids from major cities like Tokyo to more remote areas considered most suitable for wind power, he says."

Time for PUC Facts Concerning Gridscale Wind in Maine

The time is overdue for them on this issue in Maine.

Maine's PUC NEEDS California's E3 or, Dr. Williamson, Please Step Forward!

"The Sierra Club is upset because the California Public Utilities Commission (PUC) built a sophisticated and unbiased computer model to analyze the cost-effectiveness of new solar policy proposals. But despite all the Sierra Club’s political clout, the computer model determined is that none of the solar policy proposals are cost effective.

After years of paying about a $200 premium to buy any and all excess electrical power streaming from home and commercial building rooftop solar…

Maine PUC...Look at California PUC's Recent Renewable Unbiased Research . Why Williamson is FEARED!

Excerpts below..see full article from below link please.

"To facilitate a fair and transparent analysis of competitive energy strategies, the PUC commissioned San Francisco/Vancouver-based consultants Energy + Environmental Economics (E3) to build an integrated “computer tool” to provide a rigorous technical analysis…

The PUC MUST Represent the Public Interest, Not the Shills of Wind in Maine

Mainers could start to benefit from real competition in the electricity market .

The subsidized high cost lies from the wind lobby and the lying sleazeballs of "Enronesque" First Wind would soon be under  close PUC analysis.

If  soon to be data wonk in the Maine PUC, Dr. Bruce Williamson, runs the numbers on wind energy as a PUC commissioner, look out Big Wind in Maine!

First Wind and the wind lobby never can stand close scrutiny based on facts and cost benefit…

Why Williamson is seen as a political threat by the Dems in Maine; Why confirmation may be very difficult.

Paid off  wind shills, political self - servers  and paid off enviro-groups like NRCM  made the law, PL-661 (The Expedited Wind Law of 2008).

The damage has festered and grown for years now.

Damage has been inflicted  to  legal process , to Maine's environment and to the citizenry , for next to naught in benefit.

This "lie", called a legislative emergency bill, PL-661, was the take over by wind corporate interests and unctuous self-serving political…

Crackdown on Wind Power Underway in the UK !

It is time for this to happen in Maine too1

"LOCAL residents will be able to block all future onshore wind farms under new measures to be fast-tracked into law, the new energy secretary has announced.

Amber Rudd revealed she had “put a rocket” under her officials to “put the local community back in charge” of their own neighbourhoods.

In an interview with The Sunday Times she also said the Tory government…

LD-1329 is a solution to the problem, or the state's motto will become:

"MAINE, A GREAT STATE TO LEAVE"

If the wind rush in Maine is not stopped and its  resultant build out  for peak power transmission lines not halted by  Mainers and the PUC, the state's new motto will indeed become the above.

It will become cost-prohibitive for business to live there, and for many residents  to pay their electric bills.

Building more buried  non-visible  natural  gas lines  in…

Once they get the permit and build on the mountains, the mountains are theirs!

The project  is Forever! Old 400ft  turbines will be replaced by bigger ones in the future.

The testimony for LD 1329 clearly determined this (listen to the testimony please).

Why?

Because graft and collusion in the Maine legislature as it relates to wind power corruption and collusion was allowed and legislated in 2008 by PL-661, by the Baldacci clan et al.

Private Investigators in Maine hired by Citizens' Anti-Wind Groups

Remember folks, the modus operandi and "business plan" of wind companies has not changed in Maine since the inception of PL-661 in 2008 (Expedited Wind Law).

The law was designed by big wind and numerous self-serving unctuous politicians (think Angus King)  and  deceptive "enviro"lawyers  to destroy Mainers' constitutional  and  property rights and to enable their scheme. Other ignorant or ill-informed politicians at the time "assumed" the benefits of Industrial Wind (there has never…

Of Greed, Collusion, Corruption and Bribery

After years of dealing with the wind issue, I can say with sadness that Maine is a very dirty little state, politically.

It is a shame how unctuous political elites have manipulated the legislative process as it concerns the wind scam.

Governor LePage should immediately place a halt to all further wind projects until  detailed cost/benefit analysis is undertaken of the wind industry in Maine.

In addition , an ethical "audit" should be initiated by the…

Maine Center For Public Interest Reporting – Three Part Series: A CRITICAL LOOK AT MAINE’S WIND ACT

******** IF LINKS BELOW DON'T WORK, GOOGLE THEM*********

(excerpts) From Part 1 – On Maine’s Wind Law “Once the committee passed the wind energy bill on to the full House and Senate, lawmakers there didn’t even debate it. They passed it unanimously and with no discussion. House Majority Leader Hannah Pingree, a Democrat from North Haven, says legislators probably didn’t know how many turbines would be constructed in Maine if the law’s goals were met." . – Maine Center for Public Interest Reporting, August 2010 https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-power-bandwagon-hits-bumps-in-the-road-3/From Part 2 – On Wind and Oil Yet using wind energy doesn’t lower dependence on imported foreign oil. That’s because the majority of imported oil in Maine is used for heating and transportation. And switching our dependence from foreign oil to Maine-produced electricity isn’t likely to happen very soon, says Bartlett. “Right now, people can’t switch to electric cars and heating – if they did, we’d be in trouble.” So was one of the fundamental premises of the task force false, or at least misleading?" https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-swept-task-force-set-the-rules/From Part 3 – On Wind-Required New Transmission Lines Finally, the building of enormous, high-voltage transmission lines that the regional electricity system operator says are required to move substantial amounts of wind power to markets south of Maine was never even discussed by the task force – an omission that Mills said will come to haunt the state.“If you try to put 2,500 or 3,000 megawatts in northern or eastern Maine – oh, my god, try to build the transmission!” said Mills. “It’s not just the towers, it’s the lines – that’s when I begin to think that the goal is a little farfetched.” https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/flaws-in-bill-like-skating-with-dull-skates/
