SCREW MAINERS RIGHTS, THEN THEIR RATES..the plans in writing from SEC documents of IBERDROLA,UIL holdings and AVANGRID.

We all know that generation and transmission of utility electron generation(for example)  were separated decades ago so that Mainer's at least had some competition involved  to help control their electrical costs. Many considered this an  appropriate move by Maine state government and its PUC, which was supposed to protect the ratepayer and to   work for the citizens of the state (Not the Corporate Citizen).

Then came the  unfettered Crony Captialism and the…

'A REPORT ON HARVARD'S ENRON ENTANGLEMENTS'

History is the best indicator of the future...

A while back, I asked an investigative journalist to describe how he began his investigations.  He answered that he asked himself two questions.

Questions:

"What's here that shouldn't be here?"

And, "What's not here that should be here?"

Answer:

Google:  Patrick Wood, III ENRON and note 257,000 results

Editor's note:  I have below underlined,…

German Opposition to Wind Farms Spawns New Political Party

This morning I received an e-mail about the wind opposition in Germany from the Australian blog STOP THESE THINGS.

The people of Germany are getting so fed up with not being heard on their complaints about the wind industry that they've founded a new political party. The name  "Free Horizons".  That is a great name, no?

A link to the post is here and I've pasted in the article below.…

Federal Court Shoots Down Harry Reid's Plan For An 87 Turbine Wind Project For All The Right Reasons

A huge wind project in Nevada on the shores of Lake Mead has been shot down by a Federal Court for all the right reasons.  This is another instance of the takeover of land by the BLM and EPA that is going on in the West meant to fuel millions of dollars to the greedy few that live off huge government subsidies and build obscene projects to failed science.  Harry Reid is in on the plot just like all the Baldacci minions were.  Lots of facts here and I am going to try and get this published in…

PPH - Wind power critics upset by scale of newly proposed Maine projects (Tux Turkel)

Woodcock was reacting to the release Monday of the names of 51 separate projects throughout the region from 23 different development groups that responded to a joint request from Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island.........One plan from SunEdison is a massive, 600-megawatt wind farm called King Pine. Another involves two projects from EDP Renewables, Number Nine Wind Farm and Horse Mountain, that together would add up to 650 megawatts.........“This will turn Maine into a wind…

Were Ex-Maine Gov Baldacci's (now quietly Vice Chair of Avangrid, Iberdrola's wind division) and Iberdrola's Smart Meters Built to Support Wind Power Expansion in Maine?

In December 2015, ex-Governor John Baldacci, architect of the wind power virus in Maine, became Vice Chairman of Avangrid, Iberdrola's wind power division. Not a single word on this has been reported by the media.

Aside from the $1.4 billion ratepayer funded MPRP transmission buildout handed to Iberdrola by Governor Baldacci and his henchmen, there was also the extremely high priced smart meter program which Iberdrola got to build. Both of these were put in place for the…

What's it going to take for Mainers to rebel?

How about taking a step back and simply looking at how our government has crushed us. For example, for starters and in no particular order:

1. The Maine senate president Justin Alfond is caught red handed conspiring with the wind industry to pass the laws they want. It is documented by the Maine Center for Public Interest Reporting.

2. Former Governor (and now US Senator) Angus King…

UPC First Wind CEO is imbedded in green policy affecting his projects and New Englanders, but not alone...

UPC First Wind Paul Gaynor on 7/09/14 writes in his Boston Globe op-ed:

(a clip)-

Thankfully in Massachusetts, we have been fortunate to have executive and legislative leadership that recognizes the need for energy policy that expands the use of clean energy and energy efficiency while saving ratepayers money. To date, those policies have been highly successful, expanding clean energy use while driving down prices.

Our leadership has an…

striking comparisons between wind power development and the sad story of the Aral Sea

There are lessons for all of us in the story of the Aral Sea. A number of parallels between impacts of the careless, deliberate destruction of the Aral Sea and the rolling-over-us nature of Big Wind (and Big PV Solar) are instructive. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aral_Sea

Maine Center For Public Interest Reporting – Three Part Series: A CRITICAL LOOK AT MAINE’S WIND ACT

******** IF LINKS BELOW DON'T WORK, GOOGLE THEM*********

(excerpts) From Part 1 – On Maine’s Wind Law “Once the committee passed the wind energy bill on to the full House and Senate, lawmakers there didn’t even debate it. They passed it unanimously and with no discussion. House Majority Leader Hannah Pingree, a Democrat from North Haven, says legislators probably didn’t know how many turbines would be constructed in Maine if the law’s goals were met." . – Maine Center for Public Interest Reporting, August 2010 https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-power-bandwagon-hits-bumps-in-the-road-3/From Part 2 – On Wind and Oil Yet using wind energy doesn’t lower dependence on imported foreign oil. That’s because the majority of imported oil in Maine is used for heating and transportation. And switching our dependence from foreign oil to Maine-produced electricity isn’t likely to happen very soon, says Bartlett. “Right now, people can’t switch to electric cars and heating – if they did, we’d be in trouble.” So was one of the fundamental premises of the task force false, or at least misleading?" https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-swept-task-force-set-the-rules/From Part 3 – On Wind-Required New Transmission Lines Finally, the building of enormous, high-voltage transmission lines that the regional electricity system operator says are required to move substantial amounts of wind power to markets south of Maine was never even discussed by the task force – an omission that Mills said will come to haunt the state.“If you try to put 2,500 or 3,000 megawatts in northern or eastern Maine – oh, my god, try to build the transmission!” said Mills. “It’s not just the towers, it’s the lines – that’s when I begin to think that the goal is a little farfetched.” https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/flaws-in-bill-like-skating-with-dull-skates/
