It was much warmer and dryer in Europe during earlier years

APPARENTLY, THERE WERE HEAT WAVES AND DROUGHTS IN EUROPE BEFORE GLOBAL WARMING FOR MORE THAN 1000 YEARS

All that time no fossil fuels were used and CO2 in the atmosphere was STEADY, and much lower than at present.

A real scientist would say, CO2 did not play any role regarding heat waves and droughts for one thousand years, so why should it play a role now? And, why are we having a mostly Western, expensive, disruptive wind/solar/battery mania to reduce CO2?

It is a good thing the Observer, a newspaper in England, wrote about it in 1852 (the UK was a superpower back then, "Ruled the Waves"), otherwise, we would have never known about it.

If the Observer had recently written this, it would be black-listed for heresy to the IPCC’s global warming theology!

Fahrenheit: freezing is at 32 F, water boiling, at 14.7 psi, is at 212 F

Celsius: freezing is at 0 C, boiling is at 100 C

Reaumur: freezing is at 0 R, boiling is at 80 R

Maine pretends to be a rich state

And that its people are flush with money….

And that they can afford the most expensive luxury items, including highly subsidized, FLOATING offshore wind, which is the most expensive of ALL offshore wind, as proven by U.K. experience in the North Sea, near Scotland.

The UK FLOATERS need to be covered with an even more generous subsidy regime, to attract “investors with lucrative tax-shelters”, who are not living in impoverished Maine.

Every Maine Legislator knows this, but nevertheless, like a herd of bleating sheep, will vote for more FLOATERS, come hell or high water.

Warren Buffett, a big investor in onshore wind, is staying away from any offshore wind, including FLOATERS, because of the risks, and the huge environmental damage to fishes, and lobsters, and whales, and sea birds.

Buffett is rich, but also has a conscience, and is blessed with common sense.
Recently, he became the largest shareholder in Occidental and Chevron, both major oil companies.

Those offshore FLOATER wind turbines produce the most expensive electricity, c/kWh, according to U.K. experience in the deep Scotland area of the North Sea.

They get higher UK subsidies than other offshore wind turbines, located in the shallow North Sea near England

All that has been known for at least 10 years in the U.K., which had 14,000 MW of OFFSHORE wind turbines in operation at end 2022. Are Maine Legislators blinded (unlike Buffett) by subsidies?

NOTE: Elsewhere in Scotland, more than 16 million trees were cut down to improve wind conditions for ONSHORE wind turbines.

NOTE: CHINA AND INDIA, ETC., ARE GROWING THEIR ECONOMIES AT HIGHER PERCENTAGES THAN THE WEST, BECAUSE THEY USE LOW-COST, ABUNDANT, FOSSIL FUELS, AND BECAUSE THEY DO NO WANT TO KOW-TOW TO THE EXPENSIVE WIND/SOLAR/BATTERY MANIA OF "THE GOLDEN BILLION", AKA THE WEST

Maine Center For Public Interest Reporting – Three Part Series: A CRITICAL LOOK AT MAINE’S WIND ACT

******** IF LINKS BELOW DON'T WORK, GOOGLE THEM*********

(excerpts) From Part 1 – On Maine’s Wind Law “Once the committee passed the wind energy bill on to the full House and Senate, lawmakers there didn’t even debate it. They passed it unanimously and with no discussion. House Majority Leader Hannah Pingree, a Democrat from North Haven, says legislators probably didn’t know how many turbines would be constructed in Maine if the law’s goals were met." . – Maine Center for Public Interest Reporting, August 2010 https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-power-bandwagon-hits-bumps-in-the-road-3/From Part 2 – On Wind and Oil Yet using wind energy doesn’t lower dependence on imported foreign oil. That’s because the majority of imported oil in Maine is used for heating and transportation. And switching our dependence from foreign oil to Maine-produced electricity isn’t likely to happen very soon, says Bartlett. “Right now, people can’t switch to electric cars and heating – if they did, we’d be in trouble.” So was one of the fundamental premises of the task force false, or at least misleading?" https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-swept-task-force-set-the-rules/From Part 3 – On Wind-Required New Transmission Lines Finally, the building of enormous, high-voltage transmission lines that the regional electricity system operator says are required to move substantial amounts of wind power to markets south of Maine was never even discussed by the task force – an omission that Mills said will come to haunt the state.“If you try to put 2,500 or 3,000 megawatts in northern or eastern Maine – oh, my god, try to build the transmission!” said Mills. “It’s not just the towers, it’s the lines – that’s when I begin to think that the goal is a little farfetched.” https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/flaws-in-bill-like-skating-with-dull-skates/

Sign up today and lend your voice and presence to the steadily rising tide that will soon sweep the scourge of useless and wretched turbines from our beloved Maine countryside. For many of us, our little pieces of paradise have been hard won. Did the carpetbaggers think they could simply steal them from us?

We have the facts on our side. We have the truth on our side. All we need now is YOU.
