‘My carbon footprint is absurdly high…I have felt guilty about this…I own big houses & fly in private planes…who am I to lecture anyone on the environment?’
Bill Gates: "It’s true that my carbon footprint is absurdly high. For a long time I have felt guilty about this. Working on this book has made me even more conscious of my responsibility to reduce my emissions; shrinking my carbon footprint is the least that can be expected of someone in my position. In 2020, I started buying sustainable jet fuel and will fully offset my family’s aviation emissions in 2021...I am aware that I’m an imperfect messenger on climate change. The world is not exactly lacking in rich men with big ideas about what other people should do, or who think technology can fix any problem. I own big houses and fly in private planes – in fact, I took one to Paris for the climate conference, so who am I to lecture anyone on the environment?
I plead guilty to all three charges. I can’t deny being a rich guy with an opinion."

McConnell Backstabs Trump Moments After Voting to Acquit

Hey Mitch - We're on to your ilk that attempts to ridicule its opponents by calling them dreaded conspiracy theorists.
After viewing video footage of the controversial 9/11 World Trade Center 7 building collapse from four different angles, 52% of Americans who participated in the YouGov survey are either sure or suspect it was caused by a controlled demolition, compared to 21% who are sure or suspect it was caused by ordinary fires. A sizable 27% say they don’t know.

Thanks for the detailed information - no I am 2 hrs north of Portland and detest everything it has become.
Once they "push people toward the transportation corridor" that is the beginning of the chute to you-know-what-next.
Agenda 21 is on the verge of accomplishing one thing - pushing people toward the transportation corridors. I hope people are aware of the potential damage that GPCOG/PACTS and their Transit Tomorrow plan will cause. Five Hi-speed bus routes (special lanes and light signals) out of the City.
If you are from Portland, please attend the transportation and sustainability committee at 5:30 Wednesday. They may be voting on "Endorsing a national, revenue-neutral Carbon Fee and Dividend policy" promoted by the CCL Portland Chapter of Citizens Climate Lobby.

Very correct to point out the invisible-to-moonbats deficit from a lack of funds for highway maintenance as they destroy the oil/gas industry.
However,if you consider the "conspiracy theory" of years back about "Agenda 21" --recall how crazy one would need to be to think that depopulation of large areas ( think New England ?) was actually part of Agenda 21 --now it is Agenda 2030,and the Great Reset the World Economic Forum in Davos has been working on is...well...quite real now. How's all that going to work out for us peons Mr.Gates?
That Gates self-acknowledgement came from 60 Minutes I believe. Worth watching again. But at least he is also acknowledging that wind and solar and EVs aren't enough. For that he has his own nuclear company. I have to wonder if it is his tech or someone else's nuclear.
We have about 14 years before the automakers stop making gas powered passenger vehicles. That's also when I predict that road maintenance will become financially unsustainable. Maine is already showing a $324million annual maintenance budget shortage for each of the next ten years.
In 2 years we need a new Governor and in four years, a new President. Or this global warming thing will demolish the global economy.
Who is the NH Attorney General ? Governor OK with this ,or is it solely at the discretion of the AG?

Demanding Chellie Pingree,Jared Golden,Susan Collins and Angus King act on "voting integrity reform" is,I am very disgusted to say, more useless than asking a fox to guard the henhouse.
HOW ,pray tell, do we get the media to even publish a letter-- let alone an Op-Ed-- now on this issue?
Locally we've been banned from every newspaper in Maine that Reade Brower controls for not towing the "woke party" line , and every issue f the Courier Gazette now seems to carry a story about "unsubstantiated claims of vote fraud" being the "lies" that Republicans are spreading.
So to get our representatives to respond to this -- what ? write them letters? call their offices (they dismiss any such calls I'm told) or email them ?
Demand your representative to act on voting integrity reform in the U.S.
One of the the reasons the algorithms and cheats kicked in was that Florida, which had reformed its voting system from the dem attempts at fraud voting in 2020 ,was actively reformed .
When Trump won easily in hispanic and black regions of the state by well over 4 percent, they all panicked.
The same trend would have continued in the swing states if the cheats did not activate the corrupt movers to intervene.
Fraud is not new to US elections, it was the extent of it and its brazenness that was breathtaking and obvious. Reform may occur, only if we make it so.
The video fraud in NH with the Dominion owned machines was quite something. If this voter fraud isn't investigated, if it's swept under the table in a routine manner, I have to assume we're already a communist controlled country? Who is manipulating the Dominion machines? It was China in the presidential election, as alleged by the Lindell documentary Absolute Proof. Maine and Rhode Island don't use these machines, according to the radio interview, but I'm tempted to write a letter to Susan Collins asking if this is the case, given the fact that voter fraud in other states is so wide spread as to appear to be routine and expected. If election integrity isn't important enough to be investigated, where do we go from here?
Superb statement from the President --and not the fake one in my view--measured and to the point.
The other story about the voter fraud perpetrated in NH by the Dominion owned machines is staggering! I had no idea they were used in New England at all. Listening to the phone call at the very end of the article is just astounding--the degree of statistically improbable--yea likely impossible, voting patterns and tallies for Dem candidates in NH just makes me shake my head in disbelief. How can anyone NOT see the pattern here ? Where is the AG's office ? Heck, where is the FBI ? Were they doing this in Maine as well?

(excerpts) From Part 1 – On Maine’s Wind Law “Once the committee passed the wind energy bill on to the full House and Senate, lawmakers there didn’t even debate it. They passed it unanimously and with no discussion. House Majority Leader Hannah Pingree, a Democrat from North Haven, says legislators probably didn’t know how many turbines would be constructed in Maine if the law’s goals were met." . – Maine Center for Public Interest Reporting, August 2010 https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-power-bandwagon-hits-bumps-in-the-road-3/From Part 2 – On Wind and Oil Yet using wind energy doesn’t lower dependence on imported foreign oil. That’s because the majority of imported oil in Maine is used for heating and transportation. And switching our dependence from foreign oil to Maine-produced electricity isn’t likely to happen very soon, says Bartlett. “Right now, people can’t switch to electric cars and heating – if they did, we’d be in trouble.” So was one of the fundamental premises of the task force false, or at least misleading?" https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-swept-task-force-set-the-rules/From Part 3 – On Wind-Required New Transmission Lines Finally, the building of enormous, high-voltage transmission lines that the regional electricity system operator says are required to move substantial amounts of wind power to markets south of Maine was never even discussed by the task force – an omission that Mills said will come to haunt the state.“If you try to put 2,500 or 3,000 megawatts in northern or eastern Maine – oh, my god, try to build the transmission!” said Mills. “It’s not just the towers, it’s the lines – that’s when I begin to think that the goal is a little farfetched.” https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/flaws-in-bill-like-skating-with-dull-skates/
