Wind Power Fails On Every Count Says Oxford Scientitst

From ZeroHedge:

A study by eminent Oxford physicist and mathematician Professor Wade Allison concludes:

“Wind power fails on every count,” he says, adding that governments are ignoring “overwhelming evidence” of the inadequacies of wind power, “and resorting to bluster rather than reasoned analysis”

House Republicans Call for Pause on Offshore Wind Projects After Animals Keep Beaching Themselves

by Mike LaChance Mar. 25, 2023 2:15 pm

House Republicans are calling for a pause on offshore wind projects until experts can make assessments.

Whales and dolphins keep beaching themselves on the Jersey Shore and there doesn’t seem to be any other explanation than the windfarm construction.

Democrats claim to care about the planet but don’t seem to mind the fact that these animals are being harmed by all of this.

House Republicans are calling for a pause on…

If the green cartel puts offshore wind turbines within 25-50 miles of bird colonies like this one, they will disappear. Then they will blame climate so they can build more and Audubon will be there to cash in.…

The Mirror Image Of The Decepticons

Yes, the Uniparty does exist. The Republicans hold the right wing and the Democrats the left - there's no voice of dissent in either side - they all work for a similar purpose - money and power. Perpetuating this scheme is their full-time occupation - no one outside of this scheme is welcomed.

Here's a great commentary on the Republican Uniparty branch and it's players from The Last Refuge:…

PPH - Pine Tree Amendment would enshrine a constitutional right to a clean environment

Supporters say it would give Mainers legal standing on issues such as PFAS and mining, but critics say it is too vague and would lead to endless litigation.

March 23, 2023

BY PENELOPE OVERTONSTAFF WRITER

State lawmakers are getting another chance to consider the Pine Tree Amendment, a bill that would give voters an opportunity to add the right to a clean and healthy environment to the Maine Constitution.

If approved, Maine would join seven other…

DeSantis Is A Member Of The Club And You Ain't In It

WHO ARE THE AUGUSTA LEGISLATORS WORKING FOR?

Senator Jackson sponsors a bill seeking legislative approval for the Boston-based wind developer project and the New York based transmission developer project in  Aroostook County.

As is his usual tactic, he waited to the last minute to amend his bill, so no one got to study the bill's shortcomings and, as usual, the bobblehead colleagues, including legislators, enviro-freaks, and the typical piggies…

New Englands' Great Leap Away From Fossil Fuels is Fizzling Out. 66% of 2026-2027 Electricity to Be Generated By Fossil Fuels

The 2026-2027 capacity auction secured commitments to provide a total of 31,370 megawatts from more than 1,200 contractors, including companies generating electricity as well as firms able to significantly reduce power consumption at peak demand periods.

Combining the non-carbon-emitting resources and those that reduce demand, the total comes to 34…

Maine Center For Public Interest Reporting – Three Part Series: A CRITICAL LOOK AT MAINE’S WIND ACT

******** IF LINKS BELOW DON'T WORK, GOOGLE THEM*********

(excerpts) From Part 1 – On Maine’s Wind Law “Once the committee passed the wind energy bill on to the full House and Senate, lawmakers there didn’t even debate it. They passed it unanimously and with no discussion. House Majority Leader Hannah Pingree, a Democrat from North Haven, says legislators probably didn’t know how many turbines would be constructed in Maine if the law’s goals were met." . – Maine Center for Public Interest Reporting, August 2010 https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-power-bandwagon-hits-bumps-in-the-road-3/From Part 2 – On Wind and Oil Yet using wind energy doesn’t lower dependence on imported foreign oil. That’s because the majority of imported oil in Maine is used for heating and transportation. And switching our dependence from foreign oil to Maine-produced electricity isn’t likely to happen very soon, says Bartlett. “Right now, people can’t switch to electric cars and heating – if they did, we’d be in trouble.” So was one of the fundamental premises of the task force false, or at least misleading?" https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-swept-task-force-set-the-rules/From Part 3 – On Wind-Required New Transmission Lines Finally, the building of enormous, high-voltage transmission lines that the regional electricity system operator says are required to move substantial amounts of wind power to markets south of Maine was never even discussed by the task force – an omission that Mills said will come to haunt the state.“If you try to put 2,500 or 3,000 megawatts in northern or eastern Maine – oh, my god, try to build the transmission!” said Mills. “It’s not just the towers, it’s the lines – that’s when I begin to think that the goal is a little farfetched.” https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/flaws-in-bill-like-skating-with-dull-skates/
