The Green New Deal Is a Trojan Horse for Socialism

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is ready to tax the rich to make her Green New Deal a reality.

“People are going to have to start paying their fair share in taxes,” the recently elected New York Democrat told TV show “60 Minutes” in an interview set to air Sunday.

Speaking of prior decades’ taxation rates in the country, Ocasio-Cortez added, “Once you get to the tippy tops, on your 10 millionth dollar, sometimes you see tax rates as high as 60 or 70 percent.”

Well isn't that special. The new congress we just elected, including the misappropriated seat gained in District 2 here in Maine (which I knew at the time it was passed would work out the way it did), are planning to take away all the gains we have made over the last two years and turn us into a socialist state and and country. Who is leading it? AOC, Van Jones, Bernie Sanders and others of the new found socialists we have been convinced are Americans. Well I remember the days when if your espoused socialism you were made a pariah and drummed out of decent society, yet today if you are anything but a socialist you are the pariah.

In spite of all the press and academic coverage socialism is getting these days, one fact looms over the whole thing. THERE HAS NEVER BEEN A COUNTRY THAT HAS SURVIVED 236 YEARS LIKE WE HAVE THAT HAS BEEN SOCIALIST!!!!

NEVER!

There have been many attempts but they have all ended badly, as after some amount of time you run out of everyone else's money.

The UN, the biggest proponent of the New World Order, and dedicated to making everything equal at the expense of the richest, is the one who has designed this scam and the socialists here in America have taken the reins.

Read about it below.

Hold on to your wallets.

Trump will veto anything Democrats get to his desk for at least the next two years.

He will say, give me money for the wall and I will sign.

Otherwise go to hell.

Just heard about this "Green New Deal"
12 years to be 100% fossil fuel free (which even they know is impossible) so they have implanted other concepts, all of which are Code
for a Direct Attack with more Socialist Items, none of which has to do with the greening of or preservation of the planet.
Beware the Socialist "PC" Code Words, "Green New Deal"
Even Janet Mills is in over her head on this one.

'How was Maine's Expedited Wind Area drawn up?'

This "lie", called a legislative emergency bill, PL-661, was the take over by wind corporate interests and unctuous self-serving political insiders like Angus King  of more than the environment of Maine . It was the bastardization of Maine's legal process and the citizens' constitutional rights and local control for an industry that must lie to justify its existence. It is about time the legislature correct the mistakes. This battle will never be disengaged by Maine's citizens unless the heinous law , PL-661, is expunged or significantly corrected

Is placement of these near useless    things all over Maine now "an Emergency" as it was declared in 2008 by PL-661?

If not, why is the horrendous PL-661 still in full effect?

Maine is well on its way to becoming a socialist state.

Remember that "Emergency  Wind Bill" , a "legislated" farce called PL-661 with NO Discussion, past in the final minutes in a non-transparent  manner  by self-serving pro wind lobbied interests?

“Once the committee passed the wind energy bill on to the full House and Senate, lawmakers there didn’t even debate it. They passed it unanimously and with no discussion. House Majority Leader Hannah Pingree, a Democrat from North Haven, says legislators probably didn’t know how many turbines would be constructed in Maine if the law’s goals were met." . – Maine Center for Public Interest Reporting, August 2010

The expedited wind law in Maine, removed input and property rights from average Mainers who still suffer under its pro - wind bias.

PL-661 has denied them their constitutional protections ,and it is still in effect today.

Unless it is significantly modified or expunged, its negative impacts will continue.

That’s because the majority of imported oil in Maine is used for heating and transportation. And switching our dependence from foreign oil to Maine-produced electricity isn’t likely to happen very soon, says Bartlett. “Right now, people can’t switch to electric cars and heating – if they did, we’d be in trouble.” So was one of the fundamental premises of the task force false, or at least misleading?" https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-swept-task-force-set-the-rules/From Part 3 – On Wind-Required New Transmission Lines Finally, the building of enormous, high-voltage transmission lines that the regional electricity system operator says are required to move substantial amounts of wind power to markets south of Maine was never even discussed by the task force – an omission that Mills said will come to haunt the state.“If you try to put 2,500 or 3,000 megawatts in northern or eastern Maine – oh, my god, try to build the transmission!” said Mills. “It’s not just the towers, it’s the lines – that’s when I begin to think that the goal is a little farfetched.” https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/flaws-in-bill-like-skating-with-dull-skates/
