Investors beginning to ask SunEdison: "Where's the beef?"

The market is concerned about SunEdison/Terraform's acquisition spree. After spending some $5 billion on First Wind, Invenergy and others, are looking for results.

"Investors have become accustomed to SunEdison and TerraForm's frequent upgrades to guidance. While the latest acquisition was another step in the right direction, additional announcements related to acquisitions or guidance upgrades could lead towards even more muted response. That's because Shareholders want to see the fruits of their investments as higher returns. The focus now seems to be shifting on execution - the management's ability to deliver on its promises..."

The non-dividend resulting from not only this company's greed, but many others throughout the world is what causes serious long haul investors to avoid investmenting in these follies. Only the Players will ever keep the stock prices up, until another bubble is created, then broken. The Green Energy Boom has not been built from serious investors, as they want to see the proof of results in dividend payouts. That is the serious money, players are risk takers. The only serious investors thus far, are we the people through a forced investment, that will never yield a dividend. Government by law is not allowed to profit, but only (sometimes) acquire the knowledge of its investment. Thus we will never receive a tax reduction as a dividend return, while sacrificing what nature has provided to us to meet our basic needs. Clean water, fresh air, land to sustain us through food, forest, and many other forgotten provisions. Solar, Wind, water power, are the three energies provided to us, but attempting to create monster size facilities sufficient in sizes so as to create enough energy to be transmitted several hundred miles is futile in its higher requirement for destruction. Making better use of the energy sources we have at hand, is a no brainer. Reduction in CO² is fast becoming impossible, so long as we do not reduce by making efficient use. We all say this but seldom can follow through, usually because of marginal wages which prevent us from doing so. Making the switch all at once can be an expensive step. But this is where Maine Tax dollars should be going. Into making Maine energy efficient by investing in local production/use. Not to be an exclusive benefit to those from southern New England and the executives. (rapers of both our land and the Investors dividends)

Maine Center For Public Interest Reporting – Three Part Series: A CRITICAL LOOK AT MAINE’S WIND ACT

******** IF LINKS BELOW DON'T WORK, GOOGLE THEM*********

(excerpts) From Part 1 – On Maine’s Wind Law “Once the committee passed the wind energy bill on to the full House and Senate, lawmakers there didn’t even debate it. They passed it unanimously and with no discussion. House Majority Leader Hannah Pingree, a Democrat from North Haven, says legislators probably didn’t know how many turbines would be constructed in Maine if the law’s goals were met." . – Maine Center for Public Interest Reporting, August 2010 https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-power-bandwagon-hits-bumps-in-the-road-3/From Part 2 – On Wind and Oil Yet using wind energy doesn’t lower dependence on imported foreign oil. That’s because the majority of imported oil in Maine is used for heating and transportation. And switching our dependence from foreign oil to Maine-produced electricity isn’t likely to happen very soon, says Bartlett. “Right now, people can’t switch to electric cars and heating – if they did, we’d be in trouble.” So was one of the fundamental premises of the task force false, or at least misleading?" https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-swept-task-force-set-the-rules/From Part 3 – On Wind-Required New Transmission Lines Finally, the building of enormous, high-voltage transmission lines that the regional electricity system operator says are required to move substantial amounts of wind power to markets south of Maine was never even discussed by the task force – an omission that Mills said will come to haunt the state.“If you try to put 2,500 or 3,000 megawatts in northern or eastern Maine – oh, my god, try to build the transmission!” said Mills. “It’s not just the towers, it’s the lines – that’s when I begin to think that the goal is a little farfetched.” https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/flaws-in-bill-like-skating-with-dull-skates/
