In 2006 Angus King testified in favor of the wind project in Reddington Nubble , le lost ,he got really frustrated ...so did John Baldacci ...the rest is history.

Angus King , a man with a vision , passed the first RPS law in the nation in 1999 !!!
Maine was the greenest state in N.E.
The law was improved in 2012 , then gave birth to the Expedited law in February 2008 , just 6 months before, King had started Record HiLL Wind LLC and put on his " the sky is falling , Maine will collapse by 2020 if we do not jump on the Renewable wagon " dog and pony show on the road and in the media and academic circles " .....gas prices…

“Keep the pressure on. Never let up.” Keep trying new things to keep the opposition off balance. As the opposition masters one approach, hit them from the flank with something new. ( Saul Alinsky )"
Looks like the PSB is applying Rule Number 8 from Saul Alinsky .....renewables in Vermont not really about global warming .....it is about jobs , stable electricity prices , stable economy . ...
Chris Recchia, indeed as Vermonters get more and more educated about the…

And the plot gets thicker for wind developers in Vermont : the people are raising their voices in opposition to projects , GMP ( Green Mountain Power ) say : we have enough wind for the moment , a law was passed at the last Legislature session increasing the need for renewables , and the Public Service Board goes on permitting projects for the sake of the "Public Good" ( which they never define except with some pictures of the 2006 BP oil spill ) ........this conundrum is the symbol of a…

Vermont is on the move ...to common sense . I listened to Blittersdorf at the Addison county Democrats meeting a month ago,. He does not believe in adverse health effects of noise and gets angry when confronted with the power of MRI imaging to demonstrate brain responses when humans are exposed to very low frequencies (8 Herz). He calls people anti wind zealots when proper questions regarding emissions saving and definition of Public Good are sent to him. He wants 3000 MW of wind for…

PLEASE MAINERS WAKE UP AND OPPOSE THIS NIGHTMARE IN YOUR TOWNS. THE POLITICIANS WILL NOTICE .
WIND DEVELOPERS DO NOT LIKE TO BE BAD NEIGHBOURS. IT IS BAD FOR THEIR INVESTORS SO THEY CAJOLE , SEDUCE AND BRIBE WITH CRUMBS.
IT IS TIME TO SAY NO TO THE ENVIRONMENTAL ORGANISATIONS
IT IS TIME TO SAY NO TO THE DEVELOPERS
IT TIME TO SAY NO TO THE POLITICIANS.
IT IS TIME TO SAY YES…

In response to Public Law 2015, Chapter 265 “An Act to Improve Regulatory Consistency within the Jurisdiction of the Maine Land Use Planning Commission,” the LUPC announces a new web page that describes the petition process to remove areas from the expedited permitting area for wind energy development. The site also allows interested individuals to self-subscribe to an email notice list.…

Hello everybody.
I apologize for the repeat nature of this message, but this is a very important opportunity to have our voices heard.
The wind scandal that Mike Bond has unveiled in his book " Killing Maine "is the scandal that we are victims of , the scandal that we have lived in our fibers and souls . Mike's book will strike the media and his readers much more deeply if real victims or real wind warriors emphasize the facts that the book describes. So tomorrow such an…

WISCONSIN: You may recall the Town of Forest v. Wisconsin PSC involving the Highland Wind project. In February 2013, Wisconsin's Public Service Commission denied a permit for the project due to noise concerns, but Emerging Energies (the developer) urged the commission to reopen the case, citing new technology that permitted the project owner to…

In the surreal world of battling wind power, lawsuits are numerous, long, costly and too often favoring the industry. Not in this case!
In July 2014, the Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) issued their first eagle take permit to EDF Renewable Energy for the Shiloh IV wind project in Solano County, CA.
In response to comments requesting a longer term in order to provide lasting certainty for developers, on Dec. 9, 2013, the FWS had extended the maximum term to…

“The PTC offsets the high price of wind energy, giving the false impression that wind is competitive with other resources. But with capacity factors under 30%, project operation costs likely exceed the average wholesale price of energy in most areas of the…

This news coming from Australia is relevant to Maine as wind power is a worldwide scourge , based on a universal lie and a universal abuse of taxpayers dollars. A decade of proliferations of turbines on our planet has mainly solidified the global False Promise of wind power.

A new organization has been started in MA by Tom Thompson who lives in Scituate , MA where the turbine installed in his town has created a nightmare of noise and shadow flicker for the adjacent residents . Tom has been advocating for appropriate siting for some times while the efforts to demand that the State conducts noise testing have been largely ignored.
I believe that joining Tom in his effort is part of the coalition building we need to develop, as New Englanders , to protect…

Good bye David Littell, ex-chairman of REGGIE and DEP commissioner under Governor Baldacci , then conveniently appointed PUC Commissioner , your damage has been done . Your heavy hand, which so faithfully served the wind industry ,has been removed from the regulatory process.
We now hope and will watch for fairness.

(excerpts) From Part 1 – On Maine’s Wind Law “Once the committee passed the wind energy bill on to the full House and Senate, lawmakers there didn’t even debate it. They passed it unanimously and with no discussion. House Majority Leader Hannah Pingree, a Democrat from North Haven, says legislators probably didn’t know how many turbines would be constructed in Maine if the law’s goals were met." . – Maine Center for Public Interest Reporting, August 2010 https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-power-bandwagon-hits-bumps-in-the-road-3/From Part 2 – On Wind and Oil Yet using wind energy doesn’t lower dependence on imported foreign oil. That’s because the majority of imported oil in Maine is used for heating and transportation. And switching our dependence from foreign oil to Maine-produced electricity isn’t likely to happen very soon, says Bartlett. “Right now, people can’t switch to electric cars and heating – if they did, we’d be in trouble.” So was one of the fundamental premises of the task force false, or at least misleading?" https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-swept-task-force-set-the-rules/From Part 3 – On Wind-Required New Transmission Lines Finally, the building of enormous, high-voltage transmission lines that the regional electricity system operator says are required to move substantial amounts of wind power to markets south of Maine was never even discussed by the task force – an omission that Mills said will come to haunt the state.“If you try to put 2,500 or 3,000 megawatts in northern or eastern Maine – oh, my god, try to build the transmission!” said Mills. “It’s not just the towers, it’s the lines – that’s when I begin to think that the goal is a little farfetched.” https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/flaws-in-bill-like-skating-with-dull-skates/
