A Political Rant That's Not Meant to Be Mean

What if every citizen of the United States, whether working or not, could go to the federal reserve and obtain a credit card that had no limits and would transfer to your children after you die, and they could transfer it on after death and on and on it goes.

  • An endless amount of money to spend as you wish. Maybe you would like to end climate change by buying lots of solar panels and windmills to power the grid. Wouldn't that be wonderful?

  •    At last, the…

Federal funds are coming to Maine to build more electric vehicle charging stations, No Joke !

The Biden Administration announced Wednesday that Maine’s plan for creating more electric vehicle charging stations has been approved ahead of schedule.

Maine is among the first group of 35 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico with approved plans. The states will be eligible for more than $900 million in funding over the next two years to help build EV chargers along approximately 53,000 miles of highway across the country.

Maine’s EV charging plan…

Global Decarbonization: Negative Agricultural Impacts By Craig D. Idso -- September 15, 2022

“… a $150 per ton of CO2-equivalent (CO2e) tax [is estimated to globally] … increase the price of milk by approximately 49 percent, the price of rice by 67 percent, and the price of beef by a whopping 108 percent.”

Over the course of my career I have often been asked by concerned persons if there is any downside to implementing CO2 emission reduction policies on the off-chance that model…

“Green” Electricity vs. Human Comfort and Welfare

It is the Mises Interventionist Thesis at work.

  • Government #1: Inferior energies crowding out superior ones via edict and exhortation. Result #1: Shortages
  • Government #2: Rationing during the peak. Result #2: Discomfort, gaming
  • Government #3: New energy welfare programs. Result #3: Income…

Fossil Fuels are the Greenest Energy Sources

Contrary to the claims of proponents of the Green New Deal and Net Zero, fossil fuels are the greenest fuels.

First, uniquely among energy sources, fossil fuel use emits CO2, which is the ultimate source of the elemental building block, carbon, found in all carbon-based life, i.e., virtually all life on Earth.

The increased amplitude of the seasonal cycle in atmospheric CO2 and satellite-borne instrumentation to measure solar-induced chlorophyll fluorescence from…

End Of Renewables Craze Is Near Michael Shellenberger

The global energy crisis appears to have strengthened the resolve of Western political leaders to not just continue but accelerate the transition toward green energy. Last month, U.S. President Joe Biden signed legislation that aims to spend $370 billion on wind, solar, electric cars and other forms of green tech. California legislators and regulators …

An unsustainable Electric Market

  •  Natural Gas prices set the price of electricity in New England, and they are the highest they have ever been. This means wind, solar and all the rest making up the generation mix are reaping the high prices also.

  • Under a competitive market situation, the generation types finding newfound revenue would contemplate expanding plant capacity and, even, build new…

More signs of how cultist our green thinking has become

Where’s all that added electricity going to come from?

Want a glimpse of just how cultist North American governments have become over all things “green,” especially electric vehicles? Vancouver is giddy about being the first city in the country to receive an all-electric fire truck.

How is that cultist?

Well, the new e-truck will cost $300,000 more than a comparable diesel model, pump 40 per cent less water and have such a short range (30 km) because of its enormous…

Green Nazi Talking Points

There really are many parallels to the new world order, the Biden administration and Hitler.  Without fair midterm elections, the day will soon be coming when this site will be shut down.

Today I tried to post these images below on FB and they shut me down for a month. No words, just these images with quotes Hitler made in speeches.  This is the 12th time Facebook has done this to me.

Folks, time is running out. …img img img

Maine Center For Public Interest Reporting – Three Part Series: A CRITICAL LOOK AT MAINE’S WIND ACT

******** IF LINKS BELOW DON'T WORK, GOOGLE THEM*********

(excerpts) From Part 1 – On Maine’s Wind Law “Once the committee passed the wind energy bill on to the full House and Senate, lawmakers there didn’t even debate it. They passed it unanimously and with no discussion. House Majority Leader Hannah Pingree, a Democrat from North Haven, says legislators probably didn’t know how many turbines would be constructed in Maine if the law’s goals were met." . – Maine Center for Public Interest Reporting, August 2010 https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-power-bandwagon-hits-bumps-in-the-road-3/From Part 2 – On Wind and Oil Yet using wind energy doesn’t lower dependence on imported foreign oil. That’s because the majority of imported oil in Maine is used for heating and transportation. And switching our dependence from foreign oil to Maine-produced electricity isn’t likely to happen very soon, says Bartlett. “Right now, people can’t switch to electric cars and heating – if they did, we’d be in trouble.” So was one of the fundamental premises of the task force false, or at least misleading?" https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-swept-task-force-set-the-rules/From Part 3 – On Wind-Required New Transmission Lines Finally, the building of enormous, high-voltage transmission lines that the regional electricity system operator says are required to move substantial amounts of wind power to markets south of Maine was never even discussed by the task force – an omission that Mills said will come to haunt the state.“If you try to put 2,500 or 3,000 megawatts in northern or eastern Maine – oh, my god, try to build the transmission!” said Mills. “It’s not just the towers, it’s the lines – that’s when I begin to think that the goal is a little farfetched.” https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/flaws-in-bill-like-skating-with-dull-skates/
