There they go with the "aging transmission lines" again. Why do they never figure the cost of new transmission lines (and a lot of other things) into the costs typically cited?

An offshore wind farm planned for the waters off Martha’s Vineyard, combined with the “cumulative” effects of a larger build out of thousands of wind turbines off the East Coast, could have “major” impacts on the commercial fishing and shipping industries, a long-awaited federal study has found.
The draft…

As a former environmental activist and environmental journalist with a brief appearance in Jeff Gibbs’ film Planet of the Humans—I was the guy trespassing at the biomass facility—I’m blown away by the amount of discussion the film has generated.
POTH brings up a slew of critical environmental issues ranging from ecosystem destruction to species extinction to climate change; the impacts of fossil fuels and limitations of alternative energy; the…

Vermont Energy Investment Corporation, VEIC, is involved in “energy solutions for an evolving world”. It helps various, mostly government entities, meet economic and environmental goals with sustainable solutions “designed for impact”. Major areas of interest are energy efficiency, building electrification, transportation electrification, and a clean and flexible grid.

Quite a milestone for this group, diverting attention from and hiding the incredible slaughter of raptors by wind turbines in the UK.
For those that are not aware, this group within minutes, eliminated all my scientific comments made to this site and I've been banned ever since. For me it is very obvious that this group is a partner in the green cartel's fraudulent message to the world.…

The Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) says the two largest energy utilities in the state, Eversource Energy and United Illuminating (UI), have filed power purchase agreements with the Public Utilities Regulatory Authority (PURA) to procure 804 MW of offshore wind power.
This is a major milestone for Connecticut’s clean energy portfolio and the future of offshore wind in the state and region. If approved by PURA, this would be the largest procurement…

Police are investigating after several wind turbines at the Caribou Wind Park near Bathurst were damaged over the long weekend.
New Brunswick RCMP say 10 turbines were damaged sometime between Sunday and early Monday at the wind farm located off Route 180 in Caribou Depot, about 50 kilometres west of Bathurst.
Police said in a release issued Tuesday equipment was significantly damaged while the suspect or suspects tried to gain entry into the base section. Ultimately,…

The Interior Department had stopped charging the rents at the end of 2018 to review company complaints that former President Barack Obama’s administration had increased them too much, making them uncompetitive with rents on private property. The Interior Department declined repeated requests to comment on the outcome of that review, or the issuance of the retroactive rent bills. A budget document on the Interior Department’s web site shows it expects to collect $50…

A Wind Turbine Mass fatality event was reported in Minnesota on April 22-24, 2020. Will the green cartel blame this carnage on a building light being left on or something else besides a turbine blade spinning at 200 mph? Will they produce images of the carcasses from this event? Or will a corrupt USFWS cart off the bodies like they always do and eliminate all the evidence?
These green energy fatality events have been taking place for decades, but have been covered up. If the Justice…

Knowing your enemy is important and this enemy is killing our world.
For the wind industry fake research has enormous offsetting mitigation consequences. It saves the wind industry billions every year. It also keeps conservation groups happy because they get paid a bundle to keep their mouths shut.

(excerpts) From Part 1 – On Maine’s Wind Law “Once the committee passed the wind energy bill on to the full House and Senate, lawmakers there didn’t even debate it. They passed it unanimously and with no discussion. House Majority Leader Hannah Pingree, a Democrat from North Haven, says legislators probably didn’t know how many turbines would be constructed in Maine if the law’s goals were met." . – Maine Center for Public Interest Reporting, August 2010 https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-power-bandwagon-hits-bumps-in-the-road-3/From Part 2 – On Wind and Oil Yet using wind energy doesn’t lower dependence on imported foreign oil. That’s because the majority of imported oil in Maine is used for heating and transportation. And switching our dependence from foreign oil to Maine-produced electricity isn’t likely to happen very soon, says Bartlett. “Right now, people can’t switch to electric cars and heating – if they did, we’d be in trouble.” So was one of the fundamental premises of the task force false, or at least misleading?" https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-swept-task-force-set-the-rules/From Part 3 – On Wind-Required New Transmission Lines Finally, the building of enormous, high-voltage transmission lines that the regional electricity system operator says are required to move substantial amounts of wind power to markets south of Maine was never even discussed by the task force – an omission that Mills said will come to haunt the state.“If you try to put 2,500 or 3,000 megawatts in northern or eastern Maine – oh, my god, try to build the transmission!” said Mills. “It’s not just the towers, it’s the lines – that’s when I begin to think that the goal is a little farfetched.” https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/flaws-in-bill-like-skating-with-dull-skates/
