My notes on "New administration rule would permit thousands of eagle deaths at wind farms"

Under the plan announced Wednesday, companies could kill or injure up to 4,200 bald eagles a year without penalty.                                                                                                          http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2016/05/04/new-administration-rule-...;
Is 4200 the number needed to cover the ongoing carnage to America's Bald eagles? Or will 4200 dead eagles with some wind industry calculations become 42000?                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             From the article .........." The Fish and Wildlife Service estimates there are about 143,000 bald eagles in the United States, and 40,000 golden eagles." These estimates are complete media garbage. The USFWS can not even document 100 active and occupied golden eagle nest sites in all of CA. Hate to tell everyone, but the Fish and Wildlife service is being run by hand picked corporate stooges selling a wind turbine agenda .

"Ashe said the 162-page proposal would protect eagles and at the same time "help the country reduce its reliance on fossil fuels" such as coal and oil that contribute to global warming.

Protect eagles by slaughtering them??????  This hasn't worked for our disappearing golden eagles.

This will help the country reduce its reliance on fossil fuels even though wind energy provides less than a third of a percent of our total energy needs????????? This industry has been singing this sick tune for 35 years.

"Golden and bald eagles are not endangered species but are protected under the Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Act and the Migratory Bird Treaty Act. The laws prohibit killing, selling or otherwise harming eagles, their nests or eggs without a permit."

Wait just a minute, what laws?????? What protection?????? The wind industry has killed thousands of eagles without any permits.  USFWS agents have been picking up most of these  carcasses and shipping them off to Denver.  All of this has been accomplished  through fraud, collusion, rigged research and non-disclosure agreements/USFWS employment policies hiding the truth about these worthless wind turbines.

"Under the new proposal, companies would pay a $36,000 fee for a long-term permit allowing them to kill or injure eagles. Companies would have to commit to take additional measures if they kill or injure more eagles than estimated, or if new information suggests eagle populations are being affected."

Hold on there fraudsters......... What about paying for the thousands of eagles that have already bee slaughtered by wind turbines?

"The permits would be reviewed every five years, and companies would have to submit reports of how many eagles they kill. Now such reporting is voluntary, and the Interior Department refuses to release the information."

This is exactly why the public has been given no accountability for the 33,000 plus eagle carcasses sent to the Denver Eagle Repository since 1997.  Wind industry reporting is voluntary and the Interior Department is in on the rigging.

Deeply disturbing that Americans are okay with slaughtering the national symbol to "stop global warming" and "wean us off foreign oil".  Is the average American IQ really that low, or do we just not give a damn?

The greatness of a nation can be judged by the way its animals are treated.

According to this quote and considering the wind industry's hidden carnage to eagles, endangered species and other flying creatures, America is not  great.                                                                    There is nothing great about fraud, corruption, Interior Department collusion, rigged research and non-disclosure agreements/USFWS employment policies hiding the ugly truth about these worthless wind turbines.

This is sad!  And your comments about government officials is spot on - Hand picked to do the administrations bidding and spread untruths!

(excerpts) From Part 1 – On Maine’s Wind Law “Once the committee passed the wind energy bill on to the full House and Senate, lawmakers there didn’t even debate it. They passed it unanimously and with no discussion. House Majority Leader Hannah Pingree, a Democrat from North Haven, says legislators probably didn’t know how many turbines would be constructed in Maine if the law’s goals were met." . – Maine Center for Public Interest Reporting, August 2010 https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-power-bandwagon-hits-bumps-in-the-road-3/From Part 2 – On Wind and Oil Yet using wind energy doesn’t lower dependence on imported foreign oil. That’s because the majority of imported oil in Maine is used for heating and transportation. And switching our dependence from foreign oil to Maine-produced electricity isn’t likely to happen very soon, says Bartlett. “Right now, people can’t switch to electric cars and heating – if they did, we’d be in trouble.” So was one of the fundamental premises of the task force false, or at least misleading?" https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-swept-task-force-set-the-rules/From Part 3 – On Wind-Required New Transmission Lines Finally, the building of enormous, high-voltage transmission lines that the regional electricity system operator says are required to move substantial amounts of wind power to markets south of Maine was never even discussed by the task force – an omission that Mills said will come to haunt the state.“If you try to put 2,500 or 3,000 megawatts in northern or eastern Maine – oh, my god, try to build the transmission!” said Mills. “It’s not just the towers, it’s the lines – that’s when I begin to think that the goal is a little farfetched.” https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/flaws-in-bill-like-skating-with-dull-skates/
