1600 NEW COAL POWER PLANTS PLANNED TO BE BUILT AROUND THE WORLD

While DISGUSTA, Maine, folks are going nuts because the world is going to come to an end, if they do not blanket NORTHERN MAINE with wind turbines everywhere, the REST OF THE WORLD is busy ADDING 1600 NEW coal plants.

THESE KNOW-NOTHINGS ARE HELL-BENT to UGLIFY MAINE and make Maine much more expensive to "live" in.

Vote out Governor Mills and get rid of her lackey appointees in November, the only rational solution.

Maine needs term limits on House members and Senators; FOUR years maximum.

Also drain the swamp of in-grown, career-bureaucrats.

The stay around forever touting their favorite programs, while elected folks come and go.

1600 New Coal Power Plants Built Around the World

The new plants would expand the world’s coal-fired power capacity by 43 percent.

The fleet of new coal plants would make it virtually impossible to meet the goals set in the Paris climate accord, which aims to keep the increase in global temperatures from preindustrial levels below 3.6 degrees Fahrenheit.

Electricity generated from fossil fuels like coal is the biggest single contributor globally to the rise in carbon emissions, which scientists agree is causing the Earth’s temperatures to rise.

“Even today, new countries are being brought into the cycle of coal dependency,” said Heffa Schücking, the director of Urgewald.

The United States may also be back in the game. On Thursday, Mr. Trump said he wanted to lift Obama-era restrictions on American financing for overseas coal projects as part of an energy policy focused on exports.

“We have nearly 100 years’ worth of natural gas and more than 250 years’ worth of clean, beautiful coal,” he said. “We will be dominant. We will export American energy all over the world, all around the globe.”

Al Gore and Bernie Sanders are globetrotting hypocrites, spewing CO2 all over the place, collecting millions in speaking fees that go into tax-free foundations so they do not have to pay any taxes on them.

Sanders has three houses in Vermont, plus a $70,000 Audie, a German import.
He is an hypocrite regarding claiming he wants to help the US factory workers.

He celebrated his honeymoon with about 20 Russians, all in their pajamas, in the USSR, before the wall came down, showing he is one of them, a long-term,, card-carrying Socialist/Communist. Just google the video.

And all the eco-terrorists attack America for not doing enough! We could go to zero with our technology and it wouldn't do a thing with China, India, and the rest of the polluters! We are not the problem, but, we have the money and success, that's what these terrorists are about, the money! AlGore is a multimillionaire because of fake climate change!

The Global Warming debate appears to be getting some heat ... is it time to invest in coal?

(excerpts) From Part 1 – On Maine’s Wind Law “Once the committee passed the wind energy bill on to the full House and Senate, lawmakers there didn’t even debate it. They passed it unanimously and with no discussion. House Majority Leader Hannah Pingree, a Democrat from North Haven, says legislators probably didn’t know how many turbines would be constructed in Maine if the law’s goals were met." . – Maine Center for Public Interest Reporting, August 2010 https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-power-bandwagon-hits-bumps-in-the-road-3/From Part 2 – On Wind and Oil Yet using wind energy doesn’t lower dependence on imported foreign oil. That’s because the majority of imported oil in Maine is used for heating and transportation. And switching our dependence from foreign oil to Maine-produced electricity isn’t likely to happen very soon, says Bartlett. “Right now, people can’t switch to electric cars and heating – if they did, we’d be in trouble.” So was one of the fundamental premises of the task force false, or at least misleading?" https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-swept-task-force-set-the-rules/From Part 3 – On Wind-Required New Transmission Lines Finally, the building of enormous, high-voltage transmission lines that the regional electricity system operator says are required to move substantial amounts of wind power to markets south of Maine was never even discussed by the task force – an omission that Mills said will come to haunt the state.“If you try to put 2,500 or 3,000 megawatts in northern or eastern Maine – oh, my god, try to build the transmission!” said Mills. “It’s not just the towers, it’s the lines – that’s when I begin to think that the goal is a little farfetched.” https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/flaws-in-bill-like-skating-with-dull-skates/
