Trump Trounces "Modestly Successful Comedian... Dictator" Zelenksy After Ukraine Leader Revives Debunked Russiagate Narrative
President Trump absolutely excoriated Zelensky in a growing tit-for-tat, which is fast turning into an exchange of wide-ranging criticisms and direct insults.
Trump in a fresh Truth Social post has dismissed the Ukrainian leader as a "modestly successful comedian" who essentially tricked the US into spending hundreds of billions for a war that "couldn't be won" and should have never started.
.
Worse, Trump blasted Zelensky as "A Dictator Without Elections" given that he "refuses to have Elections, is very low in Ukrainian Polls, and the only thing he was good at was playing Biden 'like a fiddle.'
.
Trump added: "I love Ukraine, but Zelenskyy has done a terrible job, his Country is shattered, and MILLIONS have unnecessarily died – And so it continues..." and said the Ukrainian leader "better move fast" or he "won't have a country left."
.
These are by far the harshest words Trump has ever hurled at Zelensky yet, even on the campaign trail (where previously he dubbed Zelensky as the "world's greatest salesman".
Below is the full post which is sure to fuel the flames of controversy further, as European always also express bitterness over Trump's peace talks with Russia...

How did we get here?
Much as expected, President Volodymyr Zelensky is reeling in the wake of President Trump's Tuesday evening words from Mar-a-Lago wherein he blasted critics of his Ukraine peace initiative, including Zelensky himself. .
.
Responding to a reporter's question about Zelensky and his European partners demanding a seat at the table in any negotiations with Moscow, Trump had said, "You’ve been there for three years. You should’ve ended it in three years. You should have never started it."
.
But perhaps the most personally insulting words aimed at Zelensky on Tuesday was when Trump ripped him for canceling elections with no movement on democracy or toward making peace with Russia.
"We have a situation where we haven't had elections in Ukraine, where we have martial law ... the leader in Ukraine, I hate to say it, but he's down at 4% approval rating... the country has been blown to smithereens... the country looks like a massive demolition site," he said.
.
Zelensky hit back Wednesday, telling a Ukrainian broadcaster that Trump lives in a disinformation bubble. The Ukrainian leader specifically referenced Trump's words from the day prior repeatedly asserting that the war "should never have started." He said Trump's team needs "more truth" and followed with:
"Unfortunately, President Trump – I have great respect for him as a leader of a nation that we have great respect for, the American people who always support us – unfortunately lives in this disinformation space," Zelensky said.
.
He further suggested (in a clear throwback to the debunked 'Russiagate' narrative of US Democrats) that it is Russia that's feeding Trump falsehoods on the conflict and situation in Ukraine.
.
.
Zelensky said: "As we are talking about 4%, we have seen this disinformation, we understand it’s coming from Russia."
.
Of course, the reality is that it's impossible to know - given that not only is there a war raging chiefly in the country's east, but there's been no elections or polling whatsoever - and Zelensky's term expired back in May 2024.
.
Last Saturday, Zelensky sought to address the growing criticism of the undemocratic situation, saying his country can't hold elections as martial law is still in effect. "I’m focusing on the survival of our country, and I am doing it really all my term," he said.
.
"I’m ready to speak about elections if you want," he continued, claiming that "Ukrainians don’t want, totally don’t want, because they are afraid, because otherwise we will lose the military loan, the war loan, our soldiers will come back home, and (Russian President) Putin will occupy all our territory."
.
He argued that he has maintained the unity of the country amid the Russian invasion...
"So it’s not about myself. It’s about the future of our country. The question is to survive to save Ukraine, our independence, our people, (and) our homes. And if somebody doesn’t like (it), they can choose another citizenship," he said.
.
He was also asked about the question of the US taking NATO membership off the table, somewhat shocking European allies this week. "If we are not in NATO, then as I said, NATO has to be in Ukraine.
We will need an army comparable with soldiers of Russia; it’s 1.3 or 1.5 million soldiers," he said.
.
And as we reported previously, he let his frustration and anger with Trump be known in abruptly cancelling a pre-scheduled state visit to Saudi Arabia.
He stated fact that the US held direct talks with Russia (in Riyahd) "helped Putin out of his long isolation."
Putin has since acknowledged that a full restoration of relations with Washington is underway, and that talks will continue.
Putin and Trump might meet by month's end, both sides have indicated.

UKRAINE A GEO-POLITICAL PAWN OF US/UK/NATO TO WEAKEN RUSSIA
https://www.windtaskforce.org/profiles/blogs/the-plot-is-thickening...
There are at least 8 provocations that led to the Ukraine-Russian Conflict:
1) The US-led NATO expanded beyond East Germany to the borders of Russia, after promising Gorbachev not to expand by "one inch" beyond East Germany in 1990.
2) At the 2008 Bucharest summit, NATO agreed, Ukraine and Georgia would become members, but did not specify how or when this would happen.
3) The US fomented, organized, and financed (spent at least $5 billion from 1990 to 2014, per Victoria Nuland), the illegal Coup d'Etat in Kiev in 2014, which deposed a legally elected President and left over 200 people dead and severely wounded.
4) From 2014 to February 2022, the Kiev government armed forces, UAF, with NATO arms, decided to attack, kill and severely wound thousands of its own citizens in East Ukraine over an eight-year period, because those citizens did not agree with the US-installed clique in Kiev in 2014.
The UN/EU/US/UK/NATO encouraged it by staying silent, or saying "Ukraine has a right to defend itself".
Those citizens are ethnic Russians, who had been living there for about 400 years.
5) Ukraine sabotaged the Minsk Agreements, with silent approval of Merkel and Sarkozy/Hollande, the “guarantors”, and vocal approval of Presidents Poroshenko and Zelensky
The West's aim was to give Ukraine time to build its armed forces with NATO weapons.
Those Agreements gave limited autonomy to East Ukraine, while remaining part of UKRAINE
6) In early February 2022, an army of about 100,000 of the Ukraine Armed Forces, UAF, increased its long distance shelling of East Ukraine by a factor of 3 to 5, likely a prelude to an assault on the East.
7) On February 22, 2022, Russia said "enough is enough", and finally invaded Ukraine
8) During March/April, 2022, a Russia-Ukraine agreement was partially negotiated and initialed in Turkey, but PM Johnson visited Kiev to tell Zelensky to keep on fighting with NATO backing.
Zelensky agreed to fight a war against a much larger and better-armed opponent
Ukraine, population 25 - 30 million, of which 10.7 million are pensioners, could never win that war.
.
The forces of Russo-phobia, propagated by the subsidized, government-controlled, Corporate Media in the US and EU, were working overtime to keep the US/EU populations in hate-Russia mode, while falsely claiming Ukraine was "winning".
.
After 3 years of fighting, the East of Ukraine is in total ruins.
Russia annexed over 20% of Ukraine, and its own real GDP is growing at 3.5 to 4.0 percent, far in excess of the US and the EU, despite sanctions.
Russia became more sovereign, due to a huge increase of "Made in Russia" products and services that used to be imported.
Both sides lost a total of about 2 million dead and seriously wounded.
Russia has annexed 4 provinces where the people voted by 90% or more, to be part of Russia, as they did in Crimea by over 96% in 2014.
As part of the Ukraine Peace talks, Russia and the US have decided to co-operate with each other in large-scale ventures, such as to extract rare-earth minerals from Russian soil for export to the US.
After this conflict is settled, the Euro-elites, after decades of spouting Russo-phobia to brainwash/cow/control their populations, will need to shift to Russo-neutral, if they want to do business with Russia, all while justifying spending much more on all sorts of weapons to fight Russia, which does not attack, unless provoked.
Quite a hat trick!

They passed it unanimously and with no discussion. House Majority Leader Hannah Pingree, a Democrat from North Haven, says legislators probably didn’t know how many turbines would be constructed in Maine if the law’s goals were met." . – Maine Center for Public Interest Reporting, August 2010 https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-power-bandwagon-hits-bumps-in-the-road-3/From Part 2 – On Wind and Oil Yet using wind energy doesn’t lower dependence on imported foreign oil. That’s because the majority of imported oil in Maine is used for heating and transportation. And switching our dependence from foreign oil to Maine-produced electricity isn’t likely to happen very soon, says Bartlett. “Right now, people can’t switch to electric cars and heating – if they did, we’d be in trouble.” So was one of the fundamental premises of the task force false, or at least misleading?" https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-swept-task-force-set-the-rules/From Part 3 – On Wind-Required New Transmission Lines Finally, the building of enormous, high-voltage transmission lines that the regional electricity system operator says are required to move substantial amounts of wind power to markets south of Maine was never even discussed by the task force – an omission that Mills said will come to haunt the state.“If you try to put 2,500 or 3,000 megawatts in northern or eastern Maine – oh, my god, try to build the transmission!” said Mills. “It’s not just the towers, it’s the lines – that’s when I begin to think that the goal is a little farfetched.” https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/flaws-in-bill-like-skating-with-dull-skates/
