This Battle Over Climate Change Is Deeper Than We Think. We are at the Crossroads.

The recent decision by our President is the right one. There is no doubt that the "environmental movement" has been co-opted by the far left to transfer wealth from the wealthiest nations to those that have chosen to believe that we should pay for our quest for freedom and growth. Sad to say the leadership in some of those wealthy nations has also been corrupted by those that believe that putting the Greatest Nation of all history and the most successful in terms of growth and prosperity should pay. And pay BIG!

We have to look to history, something that has been corrupted too, to see the forces in motion.  In every country where Marxism or Communism has been instituted, the people have been told that policies have been put in place "for the Greater Good of The People" but in every case they have failed because the greater good goes to the Elitists and the people suffer on whatever handouts they are given. They are given meaningless jobs, they are told what they have to do, they are stifled by rules and regulations, it is impossible to dream of a better life. The plan has been softened a bit in the last 40 years or so, but it is creeping more insidiously into our everyday lives . . . it has been indoctrinated to our school children quietly and has now reached critical mass in our Universities.

The Green Movement has taken a front and center role in making sure the USA fails and a globalist New World Order can take control of the World. This is NOT a conspiracy theory, it has been voiced by several of the UN IPCC leaders in policy statements in the recent past.

"The former co-chair of the U.N. Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change working group on Mitigation of Climate Change from 2008 to 2015, Ottmar Edenhofer let slip that, “One has to free oneself from the illusion that international climate policy is environmental policy. This has almost nothing to do with the environmental policy anymore, with problems such as deforestation or the ozone hole. We redistribute de facto the world’s wealth by climate policy.”"

At a news conference in Brussels, Christiana Figueres, executive secretary of U.N.'s Framework Convention on Climate Change, admitted that the goal of environmental activists is not to save the world from ecological calamity but to destroy capitalism.
"This is the first time in the history of mankind that we are setting ourselves the task of intentionally, within a defined period of time, to change the economic development model that has been reigning for at least 150 years, since the Industrial Revolution," she said.
Referring to a new international treaty environmentalists hope will be adopted at the Paris climate change conference later this year, she added: "This is probably the most difficult task we have ever given ourselves, which is to intentionally transform the economic development model for the first time in human history."

The only economic model in the last 150 years that has ever worked at all is capitalism. The evidence is prima facie: From a feudal order that lasted a thousand years, produced zero growth and kept workdays long and lifespans short, the countries that have embraced free-market capitalism have enjoyed a system in which output has increased 70-fold, work days have been halved and lifespans doubled.
Figueres is perhaps the perfect person for the job of transforming "the economic development model" because she's really never seen it work. "If you look at Ms. Figueres' Wikipedia page," notes Cato economist Dan Mitchell: Making the world look at their right hand while they choke developed economies with their left.

It really is up to the vast middle of America to squash this and President Trump has put the first nail in the coffin. The Globalists on the coasts and in the Main Stream Media are going to scream and the ones in the EU, that will fail again and again, will call us names and tell us we are going to burn in the Hell of Climate Change, but history will see us through. The Chinese have gotten the message about Capitalism, but used it to further their elitism. They had to change to bring their backward Nation to the modern times. While they are still an elite controlled Communist country, they have adopted some private ownership of business and allowed some of our businesses to live within their system. Apple, WalMart, McDonalds, Exxon, Caterpillar, all made significant inroads in China and have showed them how to fit in. Now most of those companies are pulling out as the Chinese market has somewhat hit the skids. Enough Chinese companies have gotten big enough to buy out the US interests and we will be relegated to leaving our Logos behind under Chinese control. In their system the elite still control the regulations and the people are in the gutter. That is the NWO plan for the US, to use our development and leave us in the dust, to just become another internationally controlled entity.

We are the USA. We are solely responsible for the development of the World such as it is. We rebuilt Europe after the World Wars. We put and end to the Cold War with our strength and technology. We made all  the research and technology developments of the 20th Century in medicine, science, business, energy, transportation, and government.  If the rest of the world wants to go their way, let them. We can become what we once were when we can get Marxism, Chairman Mao, Stalinism, The UN, and other NWO influences out of our lives. We are at the crossroads.

Donald Trump is the only leader left in the world defending Western democracy against eco fascism.

Don’t just take it from me. Read this Belgian philosopher, Drieu Godefridi, interviewed in the French liberal newspaper Contrepoints and translated here by Friends of Science Calgary.

He believes that the Paris climate agreement was a global socialist plot which the U.S. was absolutely right to escape:

[President Trump] perfectly grasped the essence of the Paris Agreement, which is to redistribute the wealth of the West to the rest of the world – he expressly declared it on the Lawn of the White House, on June 1st, 2017 when making the American exit from Paris official. In so doing, he has stopped the formidable internationalist socialist machinery that was in the process of being set up. In other words, he has refused to validate the third-world moral intuition, and the scientific pretext that gave birth to the Paris Agreement.

Environmentalism is indeed a cover for getting hold of redistribution and control by means of rules and regulations. See excerpt from:

http://www.windtaskforce.org/profiles/blogs/cop-21-world-renewable-...

MIT claims, with FULL implementation of the voluntary, Intended Nationally Determined Contributions (INDCs) agreed to during the COP-21 conference, and kept in place till 2100, COP-21 would prevent about 0.2 C of any warming that would occur by 2100, i.e., instead of 4.3 C from pre-industrial baseline, it would be 4.1 C by 2100. See Page 2 of MIT URL. Bjorn Lomborg estimates COP-21 would prevent about 0.17 C, in close agreement with the MIT estimate.

That means the agreed COP-21 emission reduction would be grossly insufficient. In fact, the COP-21 emission reduction would have to be increased by about a factor of 100 to achieve the 2 C target by 2100, according to Bjorn Lomborg. Based on outcomes of about a dozen prior COPs, the RE investments required for such a huge CO2 emission reduction likely will not take place. See Lomborg URL.

http://www.lomborg.com/press-release-research-reveals-negligible-im...

US INDC: As part of COP-21, the US offered* an INDC to reduce US CO2 emissions 26 to 28 percent below 2005 levels by 2025. The INDC CO2 emission reduction would be at a 14% more rapid rate during the 2015 - 2025 period, than during the 2005 - 2015 period, which greatly benefitted from the reduced burning of coal and increased burning of natural gas. See below table with 2025 targets based on data from Page ES-10 of URL.

* Obama did not submit the COP-21 agreement to the US Congress for ratification. Thus, COP-21 is not a US treaty obligation. Many other nations also have not ratified COP-21, including Russia.

Fox News host rips elite liberals flying on private jets, 'obviously not about CO2 emissions'

Tesla CEO Elon Musk, who quit his position on Trump’s economic councils in protest of the president’s decision to withdraw the U.S. from the Paris Agreement, tweeted Thursday that he did so because “climate change is real” and “leaving Paris is not good for America or the world.” But as Carlson noted, Musk flies around in his Gulfstream G650 ER private jet.

Business magnate Richard Branson told CNN Friday that Trump’s “catastrophic decision” makes “so many of us literally want to cry.” But Branson’s  Falcon 50EX private jet “burns more fuel on a single flight to Maui than you’re going to go through in a lifetime of trips to the shore,” Carlson said.

As for the “deeply concerned” Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, the Fox News host noted that he flies around in a Bombardier BD-700 Global Express private jet.

“Can you imagine the gas mileage that gets?” Carlson asked.

Actor and environmental activist Leonardo DiCaprio wrote on Instagram that “the future livability of our planet was threatened by President Trump’s careless decision.”

“And yet, DiCaprio flew a private jet 4,000 miles from Cannes, France, to New York to accept a climate award, and then flew back privately,” Carlson mocked.

There is a considerable amount of interesting reading at "Discover The Networks", such as:

RADICAL ENVIRONMENTALISM: GOALS, WORLDVIEW, AND TACTICS

The late Michael Crichton said in 2003 that environmentalism had become “one of the most powerful religions in the Western World” and “the religion of choice for urban atheists.” Crichton was referring the fact that radical environmentalists tend to regard their most deeply held beliefs as articles of faith, rather than science:

“Increasingly it seems facts aren't necessary, because the tenets of environmentalism are all about belief. It's about whether you are going to be a sinner, or saved. Whether you are going to be one of the people on the side of salvation, or on the side of doom. Whether you are going to be one of us, or one of them."

Another hallmark of radical environmentalism is its scientific thuggery, a trait that was exhibited during the so-called "Climategate" scandal that erupted in late November 2009. At the heart of the controversy was the fact that a number of leading American and British climatologists who held that mankind's industrial activity was causing a dangerous warming trend in the earth's atmosphere, had intentionally manipulated the evidence in order to provide "proof" that their warnings were justified. The scientists' deceptions were discovered when hundreds of their private email messages and documents were obtained and publicized by computer hackers.

(excerpts) From Part 1 – On Maine’s Wind Law “Once the committee passed the wind energy bill on to the full House and Senate, lawmakers there didn’t even debate it. They passed it unanimously and with no discussion. House Majority Leader Hannah Pingree, a Democrat from North Haven, says legislators probably didn’t know how many turbines would be constructed in Maine if the law’s goals were met." . – Maine Center for Public Interest Reporting, August 2010 https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-power-bandwagon-hits-bumps-in-the-road-3/From Part 2 – On Wind and Oil Yet using wind energy doesn’t lower dependence on imported foreign oil. That’s because the majority of imported oil in Maine is used for heating and transportation. And switching our dependence from foreign oil to Maine-produced electricity isn’t likely to happen very soon, says Bartlett. “Right now, people can’t switch to electric cars and heating – if they did, we’d be in trouble.” So was one of the fundamental premises of the task force false, or at least misleading?" https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-swept-task-force-set-the-rules/From Part 3 – On Wind-Required New Transmission Lines Finally, the building of enormous, high-voltage transmission lines that the regional electricity system operator says are required to move substantial amounts of wind power to markets south of Maine was never even discussed by the task force – an omission that Mills said will come to haunt the state.“If you try to put 2,500 or 3,000 megawatts in northern or eastern Maine – oh, my god, try to build the transmission!” said Mills. “It’s not just the towers, it’s the lines – that’s when I begin to think that the goal is a little farfetched.” https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/flaws-in-bill-like-skating-with-dull-skates/
