The above screenshot is from the movie "Windfall".
As this gentleman points out, wind projects do not make sense for the wind companies when there is no way to attach the turbines. When greedy landowners decide to throw their neighbors under the bus so that they can line their pockets at others' expense, their schemes fall apart when other landowners refuse to host turbines. Even with the government giveaways to the developers, the wind companies won't want your town if enough landowners refuse to sell out to the carpetbaggers.
Just one of many topics explored by this game changing film.
It is now available on DVD and with the summer season upon us, showing your summer neighbors the film is a great way to pull them into the fight to save Maine from this scourge.
Don't let the Enronesque carpetbagging wind companies and a tiny minority of greedy landowners in your town make you out to be the bad guy. If you don't speak up and defend your backyard, who will?
The most hated word (and most hated complete sentence) in the English language to a wind company is "No".
Just say it.
Please consider buying a copy of Windfall today and please encourage others to do the same.
Father's Day is June 17th!!!!!!!
