The "Green" lesson from Ross Island

The green energy production numbers we hear from the media are only true in the sense that they are the Production Tax Credit numbers, taxpayers in America are getting soaked for every year. They are grossly exaggerated and have been as rigged as the 2020 election for decades. Real world numbers are another thing.
But this reported green energy output is part of a system that fits Joe Biden perfectly. The more the green peddlers lie about their production, the more PTC money they get to steal from taxpayers.
For this off the grid town in Antarctica , the building of 3 medium sized 333 kW wind turbines on Ross Island  was far from a big success. It was primarily a publicity stunt. With a population that seasonally fluctuates from about 200-1000, they are supposedly getting 11 percent of their electricity from a total of 1 MW of installed wind energy capacity.
“The wind farm will produce] enough energy for 20 to 25 U.S. homes for a year,” said Ralph Giardino, the USAP project manager coordinating U.S. support for the wind farm.
"If the Crater Hill wind farm is successful, a second phase could include up to 10 more turbines."
If these statements are true and at this rate of installed capacity per capita, America would have to install several million 1 MW wind turbines just to achieve 11% of its electrical energy. Today America has the equivalent of 120,000 1 MW turbines.
This project went on line in 2009 and was such a failure, that now 12 years later, no more turbines have been added to this isolated town that still survives on diesel generators.

Will listen to this video and will definitely not be watching the Oscars.

With the mainstream media's lies being proven false by the day, with their censorship, with big tech's censorship and with the irrationality of "woke" corporations, Americans are now staring at fascism. As a result, more and more Americans are emerging from their slumber.

These crooks always hide production numbers in the "Mix".

Considering its location, I'm sure this was an economic disaster.  It would be interesting to send a film crew to all of the "wind farms" financed by Americans to find out how successful they are or were.  Some real production numbers would be excellent!

(excerpts) From Part 1 – On Maine’s Wind Law “Once the committee passed the wind energy bill on to the full House and Senate, lawmakers there didn’t even debate it. They passed it unanimously and with no discussion. House Majority Leader Hannah Pingree, a Democrat from North Haven, says legislators probably didn’t know how many turbines would be constructed in Maine if the law’s goals were met." . – Maine Center for Public Interest Reporting, August 2010 https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-power-bandwagon-hits-bumps-in-the-road-3/From Part 2 – On Wind and Oil Yet using wind energy doesn’t lower dependence on imported foreign oil. That’s because the majority of imported oil in Maine is used for heating and transportation. And switching our dependence from foreign oil to Maine-produced electricity isn’t likely to happen very soon, says Bartlett. “Right now, people can’t switch to electric cars and heating – if they did, we’d be in trouble.” So was one of the fundamental premises of the task force false, or at least misleading?" https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-swept-task-force-set-the-rules/From Part 3 – On Wind-Required New Transmission Lines Finally, the building of enormous, high-voltage transmission lines that the regional electricity system operator says are required to move substantial amounts of wind power to markets south of Maine was never even discussed by the task force – an omission that Mills said will come to haunt the state.“If you try to put 2,500 or 3,000 megawatts in northern or eastern Maine – oh, my god, try to build the transmission!” said Mills. “It’s not just the towers, it’s the lines – that’s when I begin to think that the goal is a little farfetched.” https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/flaws-in-bill-like-skating-with-dull-skates/
