It's Time To Start Blaming European Elites For Europe's Malaise

Europe is falling apart at the seams and it’s elites are sowing the seeds of Europe’s implosion...

In Georgia, the Americans and Europeans are actively sponsoring a coup d’Etat attempt to unseat the democratically elected Georgia Dream government, in circumstances that are genuinely baffling.

Having frozen indefinitely the EU membership accession process for Georgia in July of this year, Europeans feign to be up in arms at the Georgian government’s decision to confirm a freezing of talks until 2028 (which is much sooner than indefinite). Georgia acting as an independent, sovereign state is not allowed in Brussels.

Georgia’s ruling President, who lived in France for many decades, seems determined to stay in office to see through/continue to instigate the Color Revolution/regime change/violent coup d’Etat, despite her constitutionally allotted term coming to an end in December 2024.

She is co-ordinating with EU capitals to send demonstrators to keep the violent riots going.

Se is roundly applauded in EU capitals and in Washington as a modern-day Joan of Arc.

In Ukraine, from the very start of the war, it has always been clear, absent direct NATO involvement in the fight, Ukraine could never win.

Setting aside the immense human cost in lives lost, injuries suffered, and destruction since the expanded war started in 2022, Ukraine’s economy has suffered immense damage after US and European leaders encouraged Zelensky to fight to the last Ukrainian.

Zelensky illegally clings to power, because his term in office ended in May 2024.

He cannot regally partake in any negotiations with Russia

He is still lauded a hero by his many admiring, so-called democratic fans in the west.

In France, the government of Prime Minister Michel Barnier is falling apart, because he is trying to steer a deeply unpopular budget, that would require a painful mix of tax increases and social benefit cuts, through parliament without a vote.

Those drastic measures would fall on the lower working classes and would leave the upper classes untouched. Those upper classes have fought their way to the vault for decades.

In one of the great ironies, the PM’s  imminent failure is rooted in the anti-democratic, socialist, command/control tendencies of his previous employer, the European Commission.

As a result, the rising popularity of the far-right National Front of Marine Le Pen, and a pan-European rise of rightist, populist parties fed-up with the failure of the moralizing, lying, misinformation, reinforced by government-controlled Corporate Media, and government persecution of the fast-growing, influential social media, where the public actually has a voice

In Germany, the Rainbow Coalition of Olaf Scholz has turned a dirty brown, as irreconcilable tensions about:

1) the erosion of incomes due to inflation,

2)  government deficit spending,

3) idiotic environmental programs,

4) huge financial support for many millions of culturally different refugees and

5) support for lost-cause, corrupt Ukraine.

The tough fiscal backdrop that Germany faces is linked to its underperforming economy, which is less competitive than the US and Europe

A huge increase in energy prices in Germany hasn’t helped; it’s an article of economic insanity to buy American Liquefied Natural Gas, LNG,  that is 30-40% more expensive  than pipeline Russian gas.

Car giant Volkswagen has announced plans to close at least three factories in Germany and lay off ten thousand workers.

The considered view is, US Special Ops, with help provided by Norway and Denmark, blew up 3 of the 4 NordStream gas pipelines.

Inevitably, Russia is denounced as the common denominator in all of these 

President Yoon Suk Yeol’s bizarre failed attempt to impose martial law on an open, democratic and modern South Korea was blamed tangentially on Russia, given its strategic closeness to North Korea.

President Putin’s influence must be everywhere!

A relentless avalanche of US and EU  propaganda casts President Putin, as the baddest baddy of all time.

The British Foreign Office, never to be outdone regarding hating Russia, set up its own propaganda unit/disinformation center in 2014, specifically to fill the airwaves with stories about how Putin was sick, would not live long, was wrong on all issues, trying to reconstitute the Russian Empire.

Every propaganda campaign needs to clearly define an enemy

Hard-pressed European citizens must therefore accept economic hardship, a reduction in personal freedom, and support inane government policies that increase the risk of nuclear immolation, all to defeat Vlad the Terrible.

Europe feels less safe now than it has since the Cold War, not because of what is happening in Russia, but because of what is happening in Europe itself.

Anyone who thinks Germany in industrial decline, facing a growth in far-right sentiment, and with a lack of clear political leadership, is basically fine, should cast their minds back to the calamitous 1930s

The fundamental, intellectual flaw in Macron’s internationalism, is that he only wants to engage with foreign elites who act like coiffured Brussels bureaucrats.

European leaders have lost the ability to look at the strategic landscape in a clear and dispassionate way that put’s Europe’s interests first.

Ever since 2014, European elites have tethered themselves inescapably to a US Democrat party obsession with weakening and defeating Russia, because they don’t like dealing with Putin. These elites have more than $10 TRILLION invested in the US. These elites have no choice, but to dance the US invented “rules-based" tune

.

The European malaise is worsened by an almost complete, self-destructive severing of economic ties between Europe and Russia.

That split in three hundred years of economic relations has undoubtedly contributed to the rise in nationalism and political tension across Europe, as citizens struggle to pay their bills, and ask why they are being sucked into an unnecessary war, on top of paying for the climate hoax, that spawned a Wall Street style,  multi-trillion/y financial scam

As I have said many times before, peace in mainland Europe after World War II emerged in large part as previously warring counties sought to deepen economic ties, to create reasons to live in harmony.

The EU elites are progressively, and dangerously, throwing away that legacy of hard-earned peace.

The greatest irony, although, perhaps, not the biggest surprise, is that European discord and war has only benefitted the US economy.

I remember well the efforts by the US as far back as 2014, to prevent Russia from building new gas pipelines into Europ,e as the American fracking revolution was taking off.

Extremist US Republican Senator Lindsey Graham has recently made it clear, America wants to benefit through access to trillions of dollars of rare and precious minerals in Ukraine, as a deluded justification to pump billions of dollars of weapons into a losing war.

Graham also vowed to ‘crush’ European economies that sought to enforce the International Criminal Court arrest warrant against Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu.

The reason I think Trump will be a better US president than the disastrous, senile Biden, is,  he might finally make Zelensky agree to a realistic peace deal, based on facts on the ground, not on wishful neocon signaling 

However, it is also clear, Trump has no deeper sympathy towards Europe beyond stopping the needless injection of US billions into Ukraine, which are regularly added to the humongous US national debt.

He has, after all, promised across the board tariffs of 10 - 20% on goods from Europe and to ‘crush’ any country that supports development of a BRICS currency.

Europe is falling apart at the seams and continues sowing the seeds of its own implosion.

Too many Europeans have bought into the lie, if we cut off all relations with Russia, it would make them safe.

In fact, it drags us ever closer into the Black Hole of World War III.

And for that, I blame the US neocon elites far more than I blame the elites of Europe and Russia.
