Have you hired the enemy and will your lawyer quietly hand you over on a platter while taking all of your money?  I know there are several people in Maine that know exactly how it feels to be sold out by their lawyer in a wind energy case.

It's a fact that if the wind industry's fraudulent mortality research is challenged and is actually at the stage where mercenary experts can be cross examined with the right questions, it is over for this dirtbag of an industry.  They know this and through corrupt channels and manipulations, their fraudulent mortality research has never been challenged in a court case.

There are many ways to rig the system. There are corrupt government agencies, corrupt politicians, corrupt experts witting up fraudulent reports, a corrupt judicial system that fails to investigate and a multitude of people around that are happy to take a bribe. But this one is especially troubling, betrayal by your lawyer.  Over the years I have been an expert witness with several cases involving wildlife and most have turned out bad due to hired legal representation actually working for the other side.

One notable exception took place when dealing with a wind project in CA. the Ocotillo wind project. In this case the lawyers were truly dedicated, my evidence overwhelming and sadly in the end, this case was conveniently thrown out by a handpicked federal judge.

But getting to your lawyer is always the easiest option for the enemy, especially if they have big money.  One case I  was asked to assist with wildlife issues  and made it very made it clear from the beginning that I am trying to stop any research fraud associated with the project. I also made it very clear that it is rampant problem with this industry.  But due to this lawyer's deliberate mishandling of my expert input, his completely unauthorized manipulations, and the limited time available to fix all the mess that he created, very important information was left out of the legal documents submitted on behalf of the case. This lawyer's unauthorized wording allowed loopholes that would not stop fraud and were big enough to drive a truck through. My mistake was thinking this guy was ethical and that he even truly cared. In one particular case it was very clear to me from examples of conduct I had noticed and the distinct changes made to my expert input, that this lawyer had been to be talking to the other side. Due to laws conveniently protecting the cooked bastards, I cannot give specifics. But it did happen and maybe someday in a malpractice case, it will come out in the open. In other cases I was led to believe I would be able testify and be able to help with questions that would trap these crooked bastards. It has to be common in the legal field for litigants to unknowingly hire the enemy because I keep running into this problem.

But from my experience with these crooked lawyers, I did come up with a few suggestions on how to smoke out a backstabbing lawyer that is actually working for your enemy. (1) The legal world is a very tight knit community, so pay very close attention to the lawyer you have hired. (2) Forget what they say and watch closely what they do and especially pay attention to what they don't say. (3) Pay very close attention to their attitude, availability  and work ethic regarding you case. Make sure they freely give useful supportive information and truly support your legal position.  (4) Pay attention to see if they avoid giving answers, are being vague or if they are giving carefully worded incomplete answers to your questions because these are common dirtbag tricks.  (5) Discuss as little as possible on the phone with any lawyer you hire and get every possible correspondence in writing or emails. Remember that if you have a conservation with a lawyer they can deny or make up anything that took place and the weasels all know it. (6) Watch very, very, very closely for any changes no matter how small to the wording in all legal documents. These subtle changes can make every difference in case and again all lawyers know this.  (7) Especially watch for any 12th hour maneuvering by your lawyer just before critical deadlines. They love this one because it does not allow time to properly assess or correct any problems that may arise from being ambushed.  (8) Make sure you are completely notified in a timely manner of every change in strategy and any word changes to any documents including a full explanations for any changes made.  Without this complete disclosure, you should never ever accept this on face value......... Here is my finalized copy for you to review.

Then never forget the obvious with all wind industry cases, most lawyers love money. You might have 50,000-100,000 thousand to fight this fraudulent industry, your enemy has billions and all these lawyers know where the big money lies.   Bottom line, do not ever trust your lawyer until they prove themselves through performance.

Maine Center For Public Interest Reporting – Three Part Series: A CRITICAL LOOK AT MAINE’S WIND ACT

******** IF LINKS BELOW DON'T WORK, GOOGLE THEM*********

(excerpts) From Part 1 – On Maine’s Wind Law “Once the committee passed the wind energy bill on to the full House and Senate, lawmakers there didn’t even debate it. They passed it unanimously and with no discussion. House Majority Leader Hannah Pingree, a Democrat from North Haven, says legislators probably didn’t know how many turbines would be constructed in Maine if the law’s goals were met." . – Maine Center for Public Interest Reporting, August 2010 https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-power-bandwagon-hits-bumps-in-the-road-3/From Part 2 – On Wind and Oil Yet using wind energy doesn’t lower dependence on imported foreign oil. That’s because the majority of imported oil in Maine is used for heating and transportation. And switching our dependence from foreign oil to Maine-produced electricity isn’t likely to happen very soon, says Bartlett. “Right now, people can’t switch to electric cars and heating – if they did, we’d be in trouble.” So was one of the fundamental premises of the task force false, or at least misleading?" https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-swept-task-force-set-the-rules/From Part 3 – On Wind-Required New Transmission Lines Finally, the building of enormous, high-voltage transmission lines that the regional electricity system operator says are required to move substantial amounts of wind power to markets south of Maine was never even discussed by the task force – an omission that Mills said will come to haunt the state.“If you try to put 2,500 or 3,000 megawatts in northern or eastern Maine – oh, my god, try to build the transmission!” said Mills. “It’s not just the towers, it’s the lines – that’s when I begin to think that the goal is a little farfetched.” https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/flaws-in-bill-like-skating-with-dull-skates/
