Governor LePage is beating the energy drum again. But it seems so futile with the legislature.
His weekly radio address is telling the facts of the failed energy policy of the last forty years here in Maine. Why is it so hard for the legislature to vote for the good of the State and the people? It is the lies they have been fed for all that time.

Production of Natural Gas is being stalled to meet pricing needs, as with Tar Sands and other Oil Production. A supply and demand tactic that leads to permanent increases where "long term contracts" are negotiated.

LePage's increase of Natural Gas importation to Maine is soon to be an expensive venture. With 80+% being consumed for Electrical Generation of which the costs can and will be passed on to rate payers, it is posed to become an expensive commodity for small businesses and homeowners two fold. Heating and Electric. Also keeping those wind towers from freezes during winter months should they produce while waiting for a wind that is neither below or exceeding their ability. Results of Winter production only in Maine, and their fossil fuel use comparisons would be interesting.
