Apalled Environment Maine Letter Writer Seemingly Involved in Typical Orchestrated Effort

Seems this renewable energy "advocate" wrote very much the same letter for Environment Maryland! in the Baltimore Sun and the Delaware Gazette. Also the BDN.

As these events continue to increase in frequency and intensity, we need states like Maryland to continue to act boldly in slashing global warming pollution. Maryland's next step should include strengthening the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative to reduce regional power plant pollution by more than half in the next 15 years.

Extreme weather often leadsto increased health care needs, as well as increased costs. Maine must continue to act boldly in slashing global warming pollution by strengthening the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative to reduce regional power plant pollution by more than half in the next 15 years.

Environment Maine Appalled at March Snowstorm in Maine and Prescribes Renewable Energy as the Cure

On March 21, Cumberland and York counties experienced a snowstorm that canceled school and created traffic accidents across the counties..........we must power our country with 100 percent renewable energy.

Marie Jane says:  Quite interesting dialog...........the question is, "Who is buying this kool aid"; it ain't us for certain..... and, therein lies the problem.

If you read thru the opening pages of that IRENA document you will recognize a great deal of the jargon being utilized today in the news media, who are acting as the mouthpiece for these globalist puppet masters.

They are already gearing up to use the UN as the lever to force these "sustainability changes" on America. And no doubt it is NOT really about anything other than redistribution of wealth.

It will be interesting to see who will be paying the UN salaries after they collapse the world economy with their absurd schemes.

Correct, agenda 2030 it is...just that we cut our teeth on Agenda 21...thanks for the clarification...

Here's some of their agenda for Maine in 2020.

Brought to you by a coterie of misguided useful idiot elitists, opportunist con artists leeching taxpayer money, control freaks who are here to rescue us from ourselves and sadly, some trying to destroy America.

SO true Eric Tuttle.

Agenda 21 is no longer "operative" as Ron Zeigler once said,it is now Agenda 2030.Everything you see/hear from these bureaucratic scam artists is now about meeting "2030 goals..." which is to say, you'll be paying for decades for something you'll never see any benefit from, and then we'll move the goalpost when we get to say,2020.

Forget Agenda 21,it is Agenda 2030 now.

Paul is correct....UN Agenda 21, energy infrastructure....but the roots are still in the finances as a means to get control of energy and people...yes, more than in the USA.  But to stay focused, locally, cut the head off the snake by attacking, local, state and taxpayer subsidies & economics...it will never be done to target aesthetics, noise, etc...unless there are also municipal ordinances....but money talks even at the local level...taxes, landowner lease income, etc...

Want to see what we are really up against? This is just a happy dream to Obama and his progressive cronies.

Look up the IRENA_ REmap_ 2016_edition

This is beyond sleazy carpetbaggers here is America, this is a UN fostered cabal worldwide, and it is not about energy ultimately. It is about control.

Corporate control in Europe did not flourish due monarchy systems of governance. They came to America before the pilgrims as a colony of business supported invaders. They have written our constitution which was without consent re-written to the form it is today. A form, given time, they have manipulated through the use of the court to work against the people. A court that was only intended to settle issues between States (across state boundaries) or incorporated charters of the past by European Nations. (This being the Supreme Court ) States hold their own courts for charters of incorporation issues as well as civil issues that arise within the states. To allow our federal government to impose an industry upon us, especially one not needed in a given state is beyond the authority of governance and delving into dictatorship at the bequest of an industry supported by the minority using public funds or future assets.

Now the corporations will have their way, with us as the tenants of their controlled lands. This is not Europe, but it will become the Plantation States of America, unless we push back and reclaim our rights as individuals, communities, counties & states, to say to them they are NOT people and their money is NOT a voice in the halls of congress nor are they permitted to build within our communities, counties, states  that which is not needed or requested. With all the Trade Agreements, this may end up as not only a battle between the peoples of the globe and their nations, but also a battle between governments and the corporations that are soon to control them.

Your efforts must stay focused and logical...not theatrical, there are many weak points in the Wind Industry that can be targeted, economics is a really big one.  Get the tax payer $$ out...but it must be done professionally with credibility...

(excerpts) From Part 1 – On Maine’s Wind Law “Once the committee passed the wind energy bill on to the full House and Senate, lawmakers there didn’t even debate it. They passed it unanimously and with no discussion. House Majority Leader Hannah Pingree, a Democrat from North Haven, says legislators probably didn’t know how many turbines would be constructed in Maine if the law’s goals were met." . – Maine Center for Public Interest Reporting, August 2010 https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-power-bandwagon-hits-bumps-in-the-road-3/From Part 2 – On Wind and Oil Yet using wind energy doesn’t lower dependence on imported foreign oil. That’s because the majority of imported oil in Maine is used for heating and transportation. And switching our dependence from foreign oil to Maine-produced electricity isn’t likely to happen very soon, says Bartlett. “Right now, people can’t switch to electric cars and heating – if they did, we’d be in trouble.” So was one of the fundamental premises of the task force false, or at least misleading?" https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-swept-task-force-set-the-rules/From Part 3 – On Wind-Required New Transmission Lines Finally, the building of enormous, high-voltage transmission lines that the regional electricity system operator says are required to move substantial amounts of wind power to markets south of Maine was never even discussed by the task force – an omission that Mills said will come to haunt the state.“If you try to put 2,500 or 3,000 megawatts in northern or eastern Maine – oh, my god, try to build the transmission!” said Mills. “It’s not just the towers, it’s the lines – that’s when I begin to think that the goal is a little farfetched.” https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/flaws-in-bill-like-skating-with-dull-skates/
