Last week was the big Clean Energy Summit in Las Vegas. This article was written from our side of the argument so it is like preaching to the choir. Prepare to get a good laugh at the continuous stream of mis-truths and outright lies as told by our opponents.

Eric, perhaps I'm naive, but I cling to a vision that originally, environmentalists were sincere. Today's mainstream environmentalist organizations have mutated to the point they are in the business of what collecting what Tony Soprano would call "protection money".

In this article, though the I agree with most of what it is saying, still gives to much credit to abilities and cost to the consumer. The most correct portion being the relationship between corporations, government and environmentalists. (All at consumer expense)W.C. Fields was quoted as having said "There is a sucker born every minute". So long as we allow ourselves to be, that comment will forever stand true.Even the environmentalists profit, otherwise these organizations would not continue to exist with their paid lobbyists. All rely on donations from the sympathetic public, and receive donations from energy sectors to temporarily delay certain exposures by presenting real facts. Only those that work with facts and knowledge of how to assemble those facts to see beyond this and do so with no or little compensations for their effort do so with sincerity.I could go on, as to what I have observed in the last three years while working with various groups and within the meetings and outside these rooms of various committees in Maine's government, but that may need to be in book format.
