Elon Musk’s DOGE Team Uncovers Over 25 Million People Ages 100+ in Social Security Database, Some Older Than the Constitution: “There are a Lot of Vampires Collecting Social Security”

.
Elon Musk’s DOGE team has unearthed jaw-dropping irregularity from the U.S. Social Security database.
The numbers are truly mind-boggling: over 25 MILLION Americans registered aged 100 and older, with some older than the U.S. Constitution itself.
.
Late Sunday night, Musk tweeted a staggering claim, accompanied by a table of ages, suggesting the Social Security Administration might be paying out benefits to “vampires.”
“According to the Social Security database, these are the numbers of people in each age bucket with the ‘death’ field set to FALSE.
Maybe Twilight is real, and there are a lot of vampires collecting Social Security,” Musk quipped.
The table Musk provided shows:
.
.
This information released by Musk aligns with the audit conducted by the Social Security Administration Office of the Inspector General (SSA OIG) in 2015.
.
Considering Social Security is careening toward mandatory benefit cuts as soon as 2033, everyone should welcome a team of financial professionals making sure the system isn't being drained by improper payments.
Of course, that appears to be exactly what's been happening.
On Sunday night, Musk said DOGE is on the trail of "the biggest fraud in history," as SSA data appears to show that 20.789 million Americans over the age of 100 are collecting Social Security retirement benefits. That includes 12 million who are purportedly over 120 years old.
.
According to the US census,, in 2024, there were 101,000 people 100 years or older.
.
A good start would be to send no checks to anyone 110 years and older. Extremely few people (a dozen?, 20?) would be alive at that age.
The next step would be to send no checks unless missing birth, contribution record, and immigration status, present address, is verified with official documents.
Many states likely shifted welfare payments to the SSA
https://www.pewresearch.org/short-reads/2024/01/09/us-centenarian-p...
.
According to the 2023 report:
In 2015, we reported SSA had not established controls to annotate death information on the Numident records of number holders who exceeded maximum reasonable life expectancies of age 112 or older and were likely deceased.
.
At the time, only 35 known living individuals worldwide were age 112 or older, however, SSA’s Numident included 6.5 million number holders age 112 or older whose record did not contain death information.
.
Therefore, the number holders’ information did not appear in the full DMF.
We recommended SSA add death information to approximately 1.5 million Numident records where the number holders’ death information appeared in SSA payment records.
.
We also recommended SSA determine whether it could efficiently correct the approximately 5 million remaining records.
SSA agreed to explore the legal and technical feasibility, as well as the cost, to establish an automated process to update the millions of Numident records for individuals who appeared to be alive, and age 112 or older, but ultimately decided not to update these records.
.
In response to our 2015 report, SSA considered multiple options, including adding presumed death information to these Numident records.
SSA ultimately decided not to proceed because the “. . . options would be costly to implement, would be of little benefit to the agency, would largely duplicate information already available to data exchange consumers and would create cost for the states and other data exchange partners.”
.
SSA also believed a regulation would be required to allow it to add death information to these records, and adding presumed death information to the Numident would increase the risk of inadvertent release of living individuals’ personal information in the DMF.
.
We note that, as of January 2023, the full DMF included death information on approximately 137 million deceased number holders.
Over 18 million missing death records represents more than 10 percent of the records in the full DMF.
.
Therefore, the death information SSA currently provides Federal benefit-paying agencies–and will begin providing to the Department of the Treasury’s Do Not Pay initiative in December 2023–to help prevent improper payments to deceased individuals, omit information for more than 1 of every 10 deceased numberholders.
.
As of 2024, the U.S. Census Bureau estimates that approximately 101,000 Americans are aged 100 and older, representing about 0.03% of the total U.S. population, according to the Pew Research Center.
.
Individuals aged 110 and above are referred to as super-centenarians, a subgroup that is exceedingly rare. As of February 2025, the Gerontology Research Group reported that 136 Americans belong to this category.
.
Currently, the oldest living American is Naomi Whitehead, born on September 26, 1910, in Georgia, making her 114 years old.
The longest-lived person in U.S. history is Sarah Knauss, who lived to be 119 years and 97 days, passing away on December 30, 1999.
.
For years, conservatives have sounded the alarm on government waste, fraud, and abuse—particularly within entitlement programs.
The Social Security Administration (SSA), riddled with inefficiencies, appears to have an entire army of ghost beneficiaries each cashing in taxpayer-funded benefits for many decades
NOTE: The acting head of the SSA was fired. She had been with the SSA for decades. Likely knew a lot about various shenanigans. Did not utter a peep, until after the Musk examination and exposure. It is likely there are thousands more of such SSA bureaucrats
Social Security Head Quits After DOGE Data Standoff As Fraudulent 'Vampires' Exposed
Acting commissioner of the Social Security Administration, Michelle King, resigned on Sunday after a standoff with Elon Musk's Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) over access to sensitive government records.
The same day, Musk posted what he says could be the 'biggest fraud in US history' in which millions of 'people' over the age of 100 are collecting payments.
King - who worked at the agency for over 30 years, left her position this weekend after refusing to give DOGE staffers access to sensitive information, such as the fraudulent payments to 'vampires' - with at least one recipient being older than the United States itself.
.
Which of course is the exact reason career employees shouldn't be holding the keys to the castle with the new sheriff in town.
.
According to the Washington Post, "Administration officials have also been skeptical of career employees' efforts to guard federal data, maintaining that political appointees should also be able to access it, particularly if necessary to root out wasteful or erroneous spending."
.
In the wake of King's departure, President Donald Trump appointed Leland Dudek - a manager in charge of Social Security's anti-fraud office, as acting commissioner, while the Senate vets Trump nominee Frank Bisignano.
Dudek had previously posted positive remarks on social media over DOGE's efforts to cut waste, fraud and abuse throughout the US government.
Trump picking Dudek to take over for King bypassed 'dozens of other senior executives who sat higher in the agency's leadership heirarchy, touching off alarm in and around the agency,' according to WaPo.
.
"At this rate, they will break it. And they will break it fast, and there will be an interruption of benefits," said former Social Security commissioner under Biden, Martin O'Malley - a former Maryland governor.
"It’s a shame the chilling effect it has to disregard 120 senior executive service people," O'Malley continued. "To pick an acting commissioner that is not in the senior executive service sends a message that professional people should leave that beleaguered public agency."
Yes jackass, that's the point.
.
On Monday evening, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said she had been fighting "fake news reporters" trying to "fear-monger" about Social Security payments.
.
DOGE's access to records across the federal government have prompted disputes with senior officials at various agencies.
Perhaps most prominently, the highest-ranking civil servant at the US Treasury Department quit after similarly refusing to grant Musk's team access to the Bureau of Fiscal Service, which manages over $5 TRILLION in annual payments.
On Sunday, the Post reported that DOGE is looking to access a heavily guarded IRS system that contains detailed information about every taxpayer, business and nonprofit in the country.
For some reason, Democrats seem to be the only ones freaking out about this.
And again, that's the point.

That’s because the majority of imported oil in Maine is used for heating and transportation. And switching our dependence from foreign oil to Maine-produced electricity isn’t likely to happen very soon, says Bartlett. “Right now, people can’t switch to electric cars and heating – if they did, we’d be in trouble.” So was one of the fundamental premises of the task force false, or at least misleading?" https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-swept-task-force-set-the-rules/From Part 3 – On Wind-Required New Transmission Lines Finally, the building of enormous, high-voltage transmission lines that the regional electricity system operator says are required to move substantial amounts of wind power to markets south of Maine was never even discussed by the task force – an omission that Mills said will come to haunt the state.“If you try to put 2,500 or 3,000 megawatts in northern or eastern Maine – oh, my god, try to build the transmission!” said Mills. “It’s not just the towers, it’s the lines – that’s when I begin to think that the goal is a little farfetched.” https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/flaws-in-bill-like-skating-with-dull-skates/
