The Maine Conservation Law Foundation has sued the Maine PUC for allegedly approving a funding level of Efficiency Maine that is less than state law requires. Efficiency Maine provides heating incentives for things like switching to natural gas. Hmmm! What could Maine CLF's motivation be? Could it possibly be that Kurt Adams, former VP at First Wind, is now at Summit Natural Gas and Alison Beyea, his partner, is Executive Director of Maine CLF - Cheaper to get a not for profit to do it for your company isn't it! Is that what contributors expect?
