What we have to get is the Expedited Wind Law and the PTC that allows the wind developers the money to bribe everyone they need to bribe.

I would be happy to assist anyone in their efforts to apprehend those taking part in the wind industry's wind turbine mortality fraud.  From helping others to understand rigged a studies, to actually doing surveillance or properly searching turbines. In other words I am after the head of the snake. Take care of that and the turbines will start falling.

Just conveying a message, from someone that has had first-hand experience in dealing with vandals up in that area. Something that may not be prevalent in other areas, but has a history, being in a remote area. Not only from Native Mainer's but out-of-state persons as well. I do not condone this type of destruction and would assist in the apprehension of such a person, but would never tolerate a false accusation. This was a comment made by another about the area. I know it would not be from her, at the age of 79 and barely able to walk.

Mostly I was putting out a word of caution.   Anyway for those that that want to view the corruption story on the 60 minutes, "The Storm after the Storm" it can be viewed here. Of note pay close attention to the FEMA director's interview. An interview with top Interior Department or FWS personnel about the wind industry fraud would go much the same way.......Words said but with built in back doors.

Eric

"I do not encourage any violence or vandalism either, however, there are those that do so with the thought that they are in a remote area and can get away with it. Logging equipment, in particular, being vandalized and torched is not common, but happens. Camps and other property used as targets."

I rarely see the people who live in the Association. But there is a lot more to it than the story than got into the newspapers. The man who was accused of doing all the damage was severely mentally ill. I used to work in mental health, so that colors my opinions...which are anyone who can live independently outside of an institution should be helped and encouraged. Institutions are a tremendous drain on the economy and I think the human spirit. There are bullies everywhere and the Association is no different. people like the man accused of doing all the damage are typical as targets. It is significant that a jury found him innocent. Although, I think he may have done some things that were wrong, there were many many more. ..the rest of the story as Paul Harvey used to say would help in understanding why this mentally ill man had some of his neighbors as enemies as well as some movers and shakers. The story really could be a movie...along the lines of Deliverance.

I rarely see or speak to the people who live in the Association.

Punching holes in turbine gear boxes with armor piercing bullets will not solve your problems. It will only make matters worse. Industry scumbags will be quick to turn this sort of talk into terrorist propaganda. Then making matters worse, the costs to repair and replace any damaged turbines will be passed on to the poor taxpayers. In the end this fraudulent industry will reap even more profits.

Blatant in you face fraud has been sweeping the land for some time. The wind industry grab for tax dollars and their fraudulent research supported by the Interior Department is just part of this growing crisis. I do think Americans are waking up to the fact that there is a credibility crisis in this country.

Last night on 60 minutes a story ran about Hurricane Sandy victims. These poor victims trying to rebuild their lives have had to deal with a massive well organized fraud regarding their insurance settlements. The parties involved are the people, big business, and the government agency FEMA.

Everyone should make it a point to see this story because the fraud and associations taking place are very similar what is taking place the wind industry. But instead of the government agency FEMA dealing with fraudulent insurance company reports, we have the Interior Department dealing with a mountain of fraudulent wind industry reports.

This story is more important than 60 minutes had intended because of the wide reaching implications. Viewers can see first hand how corruption and this rigging process feed into industry profits.  If 60 minutes chose to, they could do a much bigger story on the wind industry illustrating the many layers of fraud and corruption behind this highly destructive business.

There is no such thing as "Green Energy". It "Green Energy" is but a deception based on technology that creates that illusion. We do not see the fumes and plumes of smokestack gases in our area, thus we hold the illusion that the energy is Green while somewhere the pollution was created in making these devices. Not all pollutants being CO², but other toxins that are not so widely discussed and brought to the public attention. The process of creating Photovoltaic panels presents many more toxins than one knows about, and there are those toxins that are left behind in the recovery or recycling efforts. This is Cradle to Grave. Mining to reuse or safe disposal. This so-called Green Energy is but re-routing "who" gets the money and how much. Maine exports 60% of all electricity it produces, the 40% by government data is sufficient with a bit left over for Maine's needs. The 43% comes from the renewables, without wind and without the need for natural gas and no need to perpetrate another fraud with solar.  I am fine with small scale point of use home systems, but not the massive commercial scale systems that occupy yet more land that can not be used to accommodate nature and its ability to produce our ultimate needs of clean air, water, food and existence. We overuse our resources and we use more energy than needed. There is a proper mix of energy use, most of which nature already provides if we put best use practices to work.

DEP might as well just say that First Wind/Blue Sky Energy bought those towns, sit down and shut up.

Just appalling that an agency that is almost impossible for the average Mainer to deal with routinely has been totally taken over by the "green energy interests" it seems.

Eric..I live about 2 miles from the stetson mt wind farms They were plopped down in the middle of a few single men who are rugged back to the land types. They call their place The Association. One of the men was a point man in Vietnam. part Native.  Just knew that if we had had the deafening noise, there would be some vandalism. I don't believe in vandalism or violence but a part of me just wanted to see the action.

(excerpts) From Part 1 – On Maine’s Wind Law “Once the committee passed the wind energy bill on to the full House and Senate, lawmakers there didn’t even debate it. They passed it unanimously and with no discussion. House Majority Leader Hannah Pingree, a Democrat from North Haven, says legislators probably didn’t know how many turbines would be constructed in Maine if the law’s goals were met." . – Maine Center for Public Interest Reporting, August 2010 https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-power-bandwagon-hits-bumps-in-the-road-3/From Part 2 – On Wind and Oil Yet using wind energy doesn’t lower dependence on imported foreign oil. That’s because the majority of imported oil in Maine is used for heating and transportation. And switching our dependence from foreign oil to Maine-produced electricity isn’t likely to happen very soon, says Bartlett. “Right now, people can’t switch to electric cars and heating – if they did, we’d be in trouble.” So was one of the fundamental premises of the task force false, or at least misleading?" https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-swept-task-force-set-the-rules/From Part 3 – On Wind-Required New Transmission Lines Finally, the building of enormous, high-voltage transmission lines that the regional electricity system operator says are required to move substantial amounts of wind power to markets south of Maine was never even discussed by the task force – an omission that Mills said will come to haunt the state.“If you try to put 2,500 or 3,000 megawatts in northern or eastern Maine – oh, my god, try to build the transmission!” said Mills. “It’s not just the towers, it’s the lines – that’s when I begin to think that the goal is a little farfetched.” https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/flaws-in-bill-like-skating-with-dull-skates/
