I happen to believe that wind energy is a well organized scam being promoted for tax dollars. I also believe the primary perpetrators should be going to prison with right along with Robert Durst.

In an article released today about Altamont Pass "Despite bird deaths, electric wind farm wins extension", FWS officials stated that 31 golden eagles have been killed by Altamont Winds' turbines since 2010.
Really?                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              These Altamont dead eagle figures released in this article are big brother numbers approved from above. Even with rigged research conducted at Altamont between 2005-2010, a total of 121 eagle carcasses were reported. I also happen to know that just one group of 28 of the new turbines declared "safer"killed at least 4 golden eagles in just one year.

Then this article implies that many more birds and raptors will be killed because the new huge turbines declared safer have not been installed. Even a statement was released from the state Attorney General's office said a permit extension would "create serious inequalities for other turbine operators and will undercut current efforts to repower."

The truth not released to the public is that Altamont is not just replacing turbines or repowering. They are greatly expanding and adding millions more raptor killing cubic feet of rotor sweep with turbines falsely claimed to be safer. How were these huge turbines declared safer?  By conducting rigged studies with search areas 10 times too small and using other deceptive tricks like calling some eagle carcasses incidental.

No one should believe a word coming from the FWS about wind turbine related eagle deaths or turbine related mortality. Here is why.

Since 1997 approximately 31,000 eagle carcasses have been shipped to the Denver Eagle Repository of which thousands have come from wind farms. The cause of death and exact locations where these 31,000 eagles were found  has never been disclosed by the Interior Department even though years ago the Repository admitted one of the primary sources of eagle carcasses was from turbine fatalities.

The Interior Department which controls the FWS,  has been endorsing the wind industry's rigged mortality research for decades and gave this fraudulent green industry meaningless voluntary regulations. And for a finishing touch both wind industry and FWS personnel, the people that have shipped most of these 31,000 eagles to Denver, are bound by gag orders with severe penalties so this dead eagle information along with other horrific mortality information, remains hidden from the public.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            http://www.orovillemr.com/general-news/20150324/despite-bird-deaths...

All for the  Green ($$$$$$$$$)!
The societal  brainwashing on the benefits of  wind power   is superseded only by the lies this industry is allowed to propagate  and get away with .

(excerpts) From Part 1 – On Maine’s Wind Law “Once the committee passed the wind energy bill on to the full House and Senate, lawmakers there didn’t even debate it. They passed it unanimously and with no discussion. House Majority Leader Hannah Pingree, a Democrat from North Haven, says legislators probably didn’t know how many turbines would be constructed in Maine if the law’s goals were met." . – Maine Center for Public Interest Reporting, August 2010 https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-power-bandwagon-hits-bumps-in-the-road-3/From Part 2 – On Wind and Oil Yet using wind energy doesn’t lower dependence on imported foreign oil. That’s because the majority of imported oil in Maine is used for heating and transportation. And switching our dependence from foreign oil to Maine-produced electricity isn’t likely to happen very soon, says Bartlett. “Right now, people can’t switch to electric cars and heating – if they did, we’d be in trouble.” So was one of the fundamental premises of the task force false, or at least misleading?" https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-swept-task-force-set-the-rules/From Part 3 – On Wind-Required New Transmission Lines Finally, the building of enormous, high-voltage transmission lines that the regional electricity system operator says are required to move substantial amounts of wind power to markets south of Maine was never even discussed by the task force – an omission that Mills said will come to haunt the state.“If you try to put 2,500 or 3,000 megawatts in northern or eastern Maine – oh, my god, try to build the transmission!” said Mills. “It’s not just the towers, it’s the lines – that’s when I begin to think that the goal is a little farfetched.” https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/flaws-in-bill-like-skating-with-dull-skates/
