Sun Edison lost $283 million last year and just sold back a company it bought only in July - So that company can file for bankruptcy on its own!  Will it do the same First Wind Who had $648 million in cumulative losses when Son Edison bought them?   This is all just another Enronesque house of cards - and no surprise!

And as for that $2.75 announcement and PR stunt pulled a couple of weeks ago - Dan McKay you are correct - Promises promises - a real wimpy move!…

And as far as Charlie  Colgan's 4,200 jobs created by the wind industry, I can assure you Charlie was paid handsomely for his study = I am just not sure if they gave him cash or a lifetime supply of glazed donuts and Little Debbie's! Take a good look at Jeremy Payne's resume on linkedin. We all know Jeremy as Executive Director of the Maine Renewable Energy Association, the principal lobbyist for the wind industry in Maine.

You will note in the resume that Jeremy also worked on the CasinosNO campaign, financed by the Oxford Casino and Hollywood Slots to prevent additional  casino competition in Maine.  All of us know by now that Chris O;Neil also worked for the CasinosNO campaign.  HMM- Strange bedfellows or just…

While not directly related to wind - I for one believe our answer to wind development is to follow Germany's lead - Abandon wind development which has been proven not to work and focus on Solar power - I use it - It works!

This article came out a week or so ago - It is good news for Maine ratepayers - Our new PUC - a lawyer, an engineer, and an economist just might be really good for Maine!  There is a reason why power companies are regulated - The are privately held corporations and we are their captives.  I for one am getting tired of paying for capital improvements of a private corporations and being told these are for my benefit!…
