Just received a copy of Maine Association of Realtors' 14 page booklet entitled "Residential Property Transaction Booklet". On page 3 they provide a list of non-physical property conditions a buyer ought to investigate before signing a Purchase and Sale Agreement. One of the items mentioned is

The omnibus energy bill passed in 2013 authorized the Maine Public Utilities Commission to have the state’s investor-owned electric utilities buy up to $75 million in natural gas capacity annually from a pipeline company, for up to 20 years.

The PUC is still evaluating proposals from the different companies, against power price forecasts it commissioned from various consulting groups......…

The Department has decided to postpone the second meeting for the Weaver Wind project scheduled for May 14 at the Airline School.  If possible, please pass this information on to anyone you know that may have been planning to attend the meeting.
