The ISO-NE Power Grid is dominated by natural gas-fired generation plants. In fact, during the peak electricity consuming suppertime hours of 5 pm to 8pm during July 1,2022, natural gas plants supplied 12,000+ megawatts, nuclear supplied 3000+ megawatts, hydro supplied around 1600 megawatts and wind, solar biomass, trash and landfill plants produced about 1200 megawatts.

I also met a Shell Engineer, who was recently transferred to MA from the Middle East. He told me that the Gulf of Maine has more oil than the entire Middle East...at an easy to reach depth.
