The UMPI turbine kept working for just about the whole month of February, which included two blizzards and 12 days with essentially no wind at all. The total power generated was 66,117 kWh, a Capacity Factor of .163.
If this turbine ever worked at full capacity, it would generate 14,400 kWh per day; actual power generated in February averaged 2361 kWh per day. There were three short periods when the software was "stuck" and reportedly needed to be rebooted.
The turbine will have its 4th anniversary this summer. It was erected in May 2009 and commissioned in July 2009. Total power generated is unclear because of numerous "automatic re-boots".
