First Wind spinoff's sales pitch on turbines rings hollow

The investors will be rewarded by the federal treasury with a check for an estimated $100 million.......But, who will ultimately pay for this roughly $400 million project?

As usual, most of the claims of the leftists and their Religion of Climate Change are a total hoax, and a way to transfer wealth from the poor and middle class ratepayers to their own Elite pockets. It is a scam that makes Enron look like a kindergarten jacks game. They have raped the ratepayers and taxpayers out of TRILLIONS of dollars that could have been spent on real energy change and real infrastructure and real jobs. Trump is right. There is no anthropologic global warming going on. The climate changes and has been doing so for a billion years or so. We have been much warmer and very much colder. I would rather be warm than under a mile deep glacier. And CO2 levels have been significantly higher and lower, too. More CO2 is GOOD for the atmosphere as plants and crops grow bigger and faster and growing seasons are extended. If you don't believe it is a fraud, just look at this quote.

"The former co-chair of the U.N. Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change working group on Mitigation of Climate Change from 2008 to 2015, Ottmar Edenhofer let slip that, “One has to free oneself from the illusion that international climate policy is environmental policy. This has almost nothing to do with the environmental policy anymore, with problems such as deforestation or the ozone hole. We redistribute de facto the world’s wealth by climate policy.”"

That, folks, is from the horse's mouth.

Standard wind turbine developer procedure is to make promises and then fail to deliver. This project is run by former Enron execs, down 20% from the start (as one out of five turbines is operating), cable is not buried in places and there were safety issues from the start. Residents were told from the start their rates would drop and that's not true either. What about ENRON? ...do proponents not see its history repeating?

(excerpts) From Part 1 – On Maine’s Wind Law “Once the committee passed the wind energy bill on to the full House and Senate, lawmakers there didn’t even debate it. They passed it unanimously and with no discussion. House Majority Leader Hannah Pingree, a Democrat from North Haven, says legislators probably didn’t know how many turbines would be constructed in Maine if the law’s goals were met." . – Maine Center for Public Interest Reporting, August 2010 https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-power-bandwagon-hits-bumps-in-the-road-3/From Part 2 – On Wind and Oil Yet using wind energy doesn’t lower dependence on imported foreign oil. That’s because the majority of imported oil in Maine is used for heating and transportation. And switching our dependence from foreign oil to Maine-produced electricity isn’t likely to happen very soon, says Bartlett. “Right now, people can’t switch to electric cars and heating – if they did, we’d be in trouble.” So was one of the fundamental premises of the task force false, or at least misleading?" https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-swept-task-force-set-the-rules/From Part 3 – On Wind-Required New Transmission Lines Finally, the building of enormous, high-voltage transmission lines that the regional electricity system operator says are required to move substantial amounts of wind power to markets south of Maine was never even discussed by the task force – an omission that Mills said will come to haunt the state.“If you try to put 2,500 or 3,000 megawatts in northern or eastern Maine – oh, my god, try to build the transmission!” said Mills. “It’s not just the towers, it’s the lines – that’s when I begin to think that the goal is a little farfetched.” https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/flaws-in-bill-like-skating-with-dull-skates/
