A dismal fate is awaiting the Great lakes and ABC is all set to cash in.

ABC and their "Bird Smart Wind Energy".............How on earth could the American Bird Conservancy ever be a proponent of Bird Smart Wind Energy, when virtually every wind industry mortality study and all pre-construction surveys to assess potential impacts, have been deliberately rigged with fraudulent methodologies? With fraudulent research that hides true conditions in the field, ABC can't possibly know what impacts are taking place at wind farms. Yet they currently embrace Bird Smart Wind Energy.

I have no-brainer news for everybody, any Bird Smart Wind Energy decisions should not include fraud, but they do and every wind project across America is being approved with fraudulent research and our government agencies looking the other way.

The ugly reality is that the wind industry is a complete disgrace and ABC should be telling this truth to their members

Instead ABC is presenting members with this illusion they call a concept................"We developed and support the concept of “Bird-Smart” wind energy development, which is designed to minimize bird fatalities.” Bird-Smart wind energy adheres to the following principles:
*** Ensures turbines are located away from high bird collision risk areas;
*** Employs effective mitigation to minimize bird fatalities;
*** Conducts independent, transparent post-construction monitoring of bird and bat deaths to help inform mitigation and;
*** Calculates compensation or the loss of ecologically-important, federally-protected birds.

Pay close attention to this last one, the term " Calculates compensation” means they are in line to receive funding from wind energy developments. In addition, independent research has nothing to do with being credible or scientific. Then what about all the fraudulent assessment research being conducted before wind projects are built? Well, I will point out the obvious, if ABC makes much of an issue with the fake pre-construction surveys, there could not possible be any offsetting compensation for THEM, because wind projects they are involved with would not receive approval.

Audubon was the spoiler at Altamont and were involved with the industry’s fraudulent research that hid increasing numbers of raptor fatalities occurring at this location. Now Altamont has far more installed deadly rotor sweep spinning away and this location is
still slaughtering the very species that Audubon was supposed to protect. Audubon was well compensated for their two-face role at Altamont.

The development of the Great Lakes will garner billions for developers. The writing is on the wall.  I see ABC playing spoiler role with the development of wind turbines on the great lakes. A dismal fate that will pay them handsomely in offsetting compensation.                                                               http://www.lockportjournal.com/opinion/mailbag-siting-of-industrial...

Maine Center For Public Interest Reporting – Three Part Series: A CRITICAL LOOK AT MAINE’S WIND ACT

******** IF LINKS BELOW DON'T WORK, GOOGLE THEM*********

(excerpts) From Part 1 – On Maine’s Wind Law “Once the committee passed the wind energy bill on to the full House and Senate, lawmakers there didn’t even debate it. They passed it unanimously and with no discussion. House Majority Leader Hannah Pingree, a Democrat from North Haven, says legislators probably didn’t know how many turbines would be constructed in Maine if the law’s goals were met." . – Maine Center for Public Interest Reporting, August 2010 https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-power-bandwagon-hits-bumps-in-the-road-3/From Part 2 – On Wind and Oil Yet using wind energy doesn’t lower dependence on imported foreign oil. That’s because the majority of imported oil in Maine is used for heating and transportation. And switching our dependence from foreign oil to Maine-produced electricity isn’t likely to happen very soon, says Bartlett. “Right now, people can’t switch to electric cars and heating – if they did, we’d be in trouble.” So was one of the fundamental premises of the task force false, or at least misleading?" https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-swept-task-force-set-the-rules/From Part 3 – On Wind-Required New Transmission Lines Finally, the building of enormous, high-voltage transmission lines that the regional electricity system operator says are required to move substantial amounts of wind power to markets south of Maine was never even discussed by the task force – an omission that Mills said will come to haunt the state.“If you try to put 2,500 or 3,000 megawatts in northern or eastern Maine – oh, my god, try to build the transmission!” said Mills. “It’s not just the towers, it’s the lines – that’s when I begin to think that the goal is a little farfetched.” https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/flaws-in-bill-like-skating-with-dull-skates/
