As The Left Tries To Kill American Citizenship, Americans Fight For Their Ancient Rights

How did our southern border simply vanish — in complete nullification of all federal immigration laws?

Since when did our unelected leaders — Dr. Anthony Fauci of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, Gen. Mark Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, James Comey and Andrew McCabe, the former directors of the FBI, former director of the CIA John Brennan, and James Clapper, former director of national intelligence — feel they could routinely exceed their legal authority?

Who allowed them to spin untruths or feign memory loss while under oath before our Congress? Who gave these unelected partisans the power to warp the very political process of the nation?

How is it that our tax-exempt universities and publicly funded colleges ignore the First Amendment and due process with impunity in their campus kingdoms?

How did a small number of extremists hijack our culture — toppling statues in the night, erasing ancient names from streets and monuments, canceling our Founders, hounding their critics, and assuming birthright amnesty for rioting, looting, and arson?

Why did America abruptly give up its long aspirations to be a racially blind society?

Why did our universities, our media, our professional sports teams, our corporations, and Hollywood revert to pre-civilizational tribalism, insisting that our superficial appearances were now central not incidental to who we American citizens are?

When did our generals and admirals begin talking down to citizens about their supposed biases, prejudices, and conspiracies, while on their watch nonchalantly suffering the worst military defeat in the last half-century?

Why are citizens struggling to fuel their cars? Is it because an arrogant Biden administration deliberately cut back oil and gas production, canceled pipelines, and put vast swaths of federal lands off-limits to drillers?

Is first-world America now Venezuela, as are our store shelves empty, our ports stay paralyzed, and our streets of the major cities after dark grow as unsafe as medieval cities?

Why do the homeless freely violate health and public safety laws, in a way the middle-class citizen would be jailed if he did the same?

Since when do the formerly hardest working people in the world sit home awaiting inflated government checks while their country is in desperate need of their labor?

How did it happen that thrifty citizens permitted their government to run up $30 trillion in debt, and to claim printing money would bring anything other than rampant inflation? Are we so rich or so stupid that we can just abandon tens of billions of dollars of our best military equipment to terrorists in Afghanistan, so secure that we can flee in ignominious defeat and abandon our allies?

American citizens must show their passports when they reenter their own country, but not noncitizens who enter illegally and for whom our borders are their open doors.

Federal employees and soldiers must be vaccinated, but not so refugees and illegal immigrants who are exempt from such mandates.

Citizens go to jail if they lie under oath, not so their unelected grandees. Everyone must show an ID to board a plane, but not so to vote — as if the sacred right of a citizen is less important than a vacation.

The very wealthy and the very poor often are de facto exempt from onerous regulations. But middle-class citizens lack the clout of the former and the romance of the latter, and so are targeted unduly because they follow the law, pay their fines and taxes, and become the bureaucrats’ primary targets. When societies go broke, their desperate regulators and functionaries fixate on the shrinking law-abiding middle class that alone always complies and pays up.

The root cause of the chaos? The American citizen is dying and is losing civilian control of the country. Eroding is the ancient idea of an empowered and self-reliant middle-class that makes its own laws, sees that they are enforced, and ensures that accountable elected officials — and not unelected functionaries — govern the country.

How did the forgotten citizen lose control of America?

For years the middle class has seen its wages shrink, as the hyper-wealthy got richer, and the poor grew more reliant on subsidies. There is no sacred space anymore between secure borders to sustain a common, shared civic identity.

Somehow running a state bureaucracy became a kingly perk, as clerks aggregated the powers of judges, juries, and executioners. When progressives felt they had lost public support, they sought either to change the demography of America or to jettison its ancient customs, traditions, and even constitutional norms — or both

Globally spreading Westernized consumer capitalism was one thing, but letting a mostly non-democratic world, rather than U.S. citizens, share in the governance of the United States, was suicidal. Yes, citizenship is dying — but it is not yet dead.

In its eleventh hour, we can sense it stirring from its coma. Seemingly out of the shadows, millions of angry middle-class parents are reemerging to reclaim local control of their woke schools, despite being smeared as “domestic terrorists” worthy of being hounded by the FBI.

Thousands of state and federal employees and soldiers are demanding to know why those with naturally acquired COVID-immunity must be fired or discharged unless they are vaccinated, despite often being better protected from COVID-19 than are the inoculated.

Communities along the southern borders are jettisoning political orthodoxies and choosing new leaders to enforce old immigration laws for their own protection.

A reckoning is coming, through popular protests now and a year from now in the midterms. Radicals and leftists have assumed battered and denigrated citizens are forever comatose, but they have been silently seething — and are just starting to resuscitate in ways the intolerant Woke cannot even fathom but will soon learn all too well.

This election victory in Virginia is an important FIRST step to END the Socialist-style, Globalist-style rampage perpetrated by SOCIALIST Dem/Progs in Washington, DC, during the past few months.

Dem/Progs are promoting open borders and government give-a-ways, for vote buying purposes

Dem/Progs are giving HUNDREDS of $BILLIONs to MILLIONS of NEW illiterates, unskilled, sickly, often criminal, illegals, from a multitude of countries, walking across the US border, for vote buying purposes.

Dem/Progs are maliciously fostering government DEPENDENCY, instead of promoting PRIVATE ENTERPRISE, for vote buying purposes.

The US people have a Constitutional right to hold such “Legislators” accountable.

Legislators, such as the Dem/Prog cabal of Pelosi, Schumer, Sanders, at al., are hell-bent to foist a $1.75 TRILLION SOCIALIST-STYLE SHAM onto the US People, regardless of what it does to:

1) US INFLATION and CONSUMER PRICES, and
2) The already outrageously high US NATIONAL DEBT, and

3) The already outrageously high GOVERNMENT DEFICITS
4) The already outrageously high US TRADE DEFICITS

5) The viability of US Social Security Trust Fund

6) The viability of the US Medicare and Medicaid Trust Funds

Sanders was sneaking in Eye care, Hearing care, and Dental care, and a host government gifting, which would further increase US government deficits and national debt, and burden various Trust Funds.

All three funds are on a glide path to bankruptcy in a few years.

Manchin said, it would not be prudent to further increase US national debt and further burden these Funds.

BTW, that sham would greatly increase Dem/Prog CENTRALIZED COMMAND/CONTROL of the federal government, and, by extension, the SOVEREIGN US PEOPLE, because all of the SHAM bill government programs would be set up and run by career Dem/Progs.

Remember, the SOVEREIGN states created the federal government, not the other way around.

The cost of the SHAM bill would be MORE THAN TWO TIMES the $1.75 TRILLION, if all its provisions would be financed the full ten years, says Senator Manchin.

Manchin has been consistent for MONTHS, saying the $1.75 TRILLION had to be fully paid for with revenues from NEW taxes, and savings from existing government programs.

However, the Wharton School of Business, the best business school in the US, claims the tax revenues and savings assumed by the SHAM bill writers are $400 BILLION short of the $1.75 TRILLION COST.

Such chicanery by LEGISLATORS, perpetrated behind closed doors, as part of “the process”, is intolerable, and should be impeachable, as determined by the STILL-FREE, UNCOWED, SOVEREIGN US PEOPLE.

Senator Manchin calls the $1.75 TRILLION SHAM bill a “shell game” and “smoke and mirrors”.

Legislators should be held to ACCOUNT, and not be allowed to hide behind MASKS, PR releases, scare-mongering, and SMOKE AND MIRRORS.

BTW, that also applies to Vermont’s unconstitutional, GWSA sham, perpetrated by Dem/Progs, using “Fighting Global Warming” as a foil, to benefit the politically-well-connected, heavily subsidized, Vermont renewable energy sector, and, by extension, financially screw all other Vermonters FORE DECADES.

The GWSA sham would have NO, ZERO, NADA EFFECT on the climate

The GWSA sham is merely “feel-good” and political payoff.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH

Watch the Manchin video regarding the SHAM bill, aka RECONCILIATION bill. See URL

Manchin states, the cost will be almost DOUBLE the $1.75 TRILLION.

 https://www.cbsnews.com/news/joe-manchin-biden-spending-plan-shell-...

See URL

https://www.yahoo.com/news/manchin-trashes-social-spending-package-...

Efforts to pressure Manchin to support the massive SOCIALISTIC safety net expansion, aka, the SHAM bill, prompted him to make his two dramatic declarations:

1) Don't rush the package

2) Don't link it to the separate, BI-PARTISAN infrastructure bill.

Why it matters:

Manchin's surprise press statement Monday, November 1, 2021, didn't just disrupt the glide path to a vote envisioned by House leaders; it created a major PR nightmare for the White House.

Manchin said the $1.75 TRILLION SHAM bill was financed by "shell games"

Manchin believes it will cost closer to $3.9 TRILLION, if all its provisions would be financed for ten years.

That estimate comes from the Penn Wharton Budget model, which has been helping Manchin sort through how much each program costs. It includes easily digestible tables, showing the costs per year, and over the usual 10-year window.

The same Wharton experts estimated last week, the revenue increases the Dem/Prog cabal proposes to finance the spending — which the White House put at $1.9 TRILLION — may only generate closer to $1.5 TRILLIION.

BTW, why is the White House using $1.9 TRILLION, and others are using $1.75 TRILLION. Which is more correct?

Manchin has been consulting with Penn Wharton experts throughout the process and trusts the model.

By the numbers:

The Dem/Prog cabal puts the cost of day-care subsidies and universal-pre-school subsidies at $400 billion

Wharton estimates the cost at $700 BILLION over 10 years.

The Dem/Prog cabal wants to spend $200 BILLION to extend the existing child tax credit for one year, but at the ENHANCED $3,600-per-year level, and “make it fully refundable for its duration” (what the hell does that mean?).

Wharton estimates the cost at $1.8 TRILLION over 10 years.

The Dem/Prog cabal has been playing games by using different program durations, to make the total spending number appear much smaller than in reality, and thus more “digestible” for wavering Dem/Progs, who are looking for good CYA to get re-elected.

BTW, after MAGA Virginians vote, en masse, and have a Republican for Governor, on November 2, 2021, no amount of CYA will ever be enough to save the tail-ends of wavering Dem/Progs.

Between the lines:

Manchin said he will continue to negotiate over substantive concerns — from climate provisions to total costs.

"I'm open to supporting a final bill that helps move our country forward,” he said Monday. “But I'm equally open to voting against a bill that hurts our country."

The big picture

Manchin and Sinema (D-Ariz.) have been at the center of talks for passing the two massive bills, because they've challenged the Dem/Prog cabal over their cost and scope.

Senate and House progressives have targeted the two senators with slime-ball shenanigans; Sanders writing a scathing OP-ED in West Virginia newspapers, and Dem/Prog weirdo operatives entering a ladies room to harass Simena!!

The US House Caucus of Progressives, and Pelosi, threatened/blackmailed the US Senate, by saying they wouldn't vote to pass the infrastructure bill, until after the US Senate passes the SHAM bill.

The Dem/Prog cabal pressed Manchin over the weekend to publicly declare his support for the SHAM bill, hoping that would convince progressives to vote for the infrastructure bill.

That approach backfired. "Holding this (infrastructure) bill hostage is not going to work in getting my support," Manchin told reporters.

The senator said he was concerned he couldn't accurately determine the SCOPE AND COST of the SHAM bill, without the final legislative language, which is being withheld, as “part of the process”.

BTW, Sanders is likely wishing he had never written that OP-ED.

Manchin said, "As more of the real details of the basic framework for the SHAM bill are released, what I see are shell games — budget gimmicks, that make the real cost of the so-called $1.75 trillion bill estimated to be almost twice that amount ... if you extended it permanently,", i.e., extend all provisions for the full ten years.

BTW, Simena had similar concerns about how much each program would cost over 10 years.

She is carrying her own spreadsheets to keep track of the price tag.

Victor Davis Hanson hits it out of the park once again. I Hope to God he is right that the American public is waking up to the "woke" disaster we're being crushed under.

Just having my blood pressure elevated by reading the ever-so-smug Angus King's monthly newsletter, I sent the following to several other writers and a few with connections in state government.

Perhaps this echoes what Victor Davis Hanson refers to as pushback against the elite leftists, like Sen.King.

_________________________________________________________________________________________________

In his current screed Senator King expounds upon the crisis facing our "democracy" ,because every Republican voted against opening debate on his co-authored "Freedom to Vote Act" . That alone ought to require a nausea bag,it is a representative Republic NOT a "democracy" ,as much as the totalitarian left wants to make it mob rule,it isn't.

He claims this rewrite of the formerly tanked H.R. 1 & S.1 bills is not a federal takeover of elections, and it is only "common-sense election integrity reforms" .
If that were truly the case then he must have also redefined "common-sense" to mean only when everyone is forced to agree with the "progressive" leftists in Congress.
My jaw practically hit the floor when I read this passage- "We are in the midst of a pivotal moment of American history, as our democracy is faced with dual crises: diminishing faith in our electoral process, and a political party that exploits and encourages these sentiments for short-term political gain.
A moment of irony here as his words describe to a "T" exactly what the Democrat party ( really an elitist/communist radical party now, masquerading as "progressives") is actually doing, and has been for years now.

"A political party that exploits  and encourages these sentiments for short-term, political gain ..." ?
Who does that sound like to you ?
The Republican party has not gotten it together to encourage anyone to do anything in recent years, let alone achieved any short-term political gains as a result. Trump's achievements in office were largely hard won without any significant GOP support beyond window dressing.
Example- the southern border wall-- pardon my language, but WTF ! The RINOs like Collins and Romney could have supported border security, but would not for fear of maybe losing the wobbly liberal voter. Now look at the catastrophe Biden has ripped wide open at the southern border.
How was that a short-term political gain for the Republicans to get a few hundred miles of wall built ?
Now that CBP officers outright state that it was a huge help in deterring the illegals and Cartel activity WHERE it was built , what are the Dems doing about this disaster ?
Nothing, hooking up leftist NGOs like Catholic Charities and others to transport the illegals by the thousands all over America, without telling the states--- or the media-- that they are doing this illegally.

As to the "diminishing faith in our electoral process" ,well spare me the histrionics of Al Gore,Hillary Clinton,Stacy Abrams and countless more democrats who have openly espoused and promoted a "diminishing faith" in the electoral process, because they lost their elections.
To which their solution is ...ta da ...enshrined in H.R1 and S.1, and now the "Freedom to Vote Act" Mr.King so lovingly describes as only "common-sense reforms" ..
It is the underhanded takeover of the election processes from the states by the DOJ ,i.e. Federal government, by creating a mechanism for outside oversight/control of all facets of the election process.

As if we do not already know enough about how corrupted the Dominion and Smartmatic voting machine system is,and has been, Mr.King no doubt thinks things were just fine in 2020.
Massive election fraud ? A conspiracy theory,right?
Massive foreign interference via the internet connections of Dominion voting machines? Never happened, right?  Trump lost every case in court, right?
The Jan.6th "Insurrection" was the worst thing in American history --far worse than year long anarchist/BLM riots that burned and looted their way across America, right?

The current crisis within the representative Republic is that the leftists want to make it into a totalitarian (you will submit to our views,or else...) state, and the surest way to do that is to wrest control of the  electoral process, healthcare, schools and media...and the military eventually..Have you looked at all these lately? How're we doing on that "short-term political gain" again ?
By encapsulating all the democrat party cronies (SEIU.Teachers Unions,AFL-CIO etc ) in the power grab through "election reform" they ensure that they will never "lose" an election again.

Nope, sorry Mr.King, you are among the reasons I have no faith in the electoral process.
