Yes, this is all about the redistribution of wealth, but it is not about the wealth of the common person anywhere on the planet. It is about the redistribution of wealth first to nation, to provide a format for equality of being able to do business as corporations, establishing free trading without taxation by the governments of the world. Established in such a way that labor and resources become a free commodity to plunder at will.

We, are in the bigger picture over several decades, have become accustomed to this transition toward self allowance of enslavement to the few, the .01%, the elite of the elite 1%.

A battle unto themselves.

Until such time we, through asserting our Creator given rights, by working from the bottom up to maintain our self imposed (minimal) governance, can we regain control of this race to the bottom situation.

Yes, we should as a global society, work to improve our lives as individuals with equality for others, though it must be done as maintaining its quality without destroying that which sustains us.

Allowing this to be done fraudulently, while promoting a few non human entities that: will create harm, will create pain, will create anguish, will create suffering, as if it were just a game of King of the Mountain, or better known as the "God Syndrome" is allowing an Idea (corporate structure) to become our provider. This is if allowed, our own undoings. An Idea that is non accountable in the end, holds no stake in human condition or the planet's existence, and can vanish with a replacement in a flash, should we be fooled again.

Reducing the demand, reduces the need to destroy in the name of energy. This is the only true Green, that is not a Scheme............  Just a necessity.........

I agree with everything written here. These are indeed the heady days of full blown corruption where the insiders must be looking at each other in disbelief that they can keep getting away with selling these fraudulent ripoffs to the apathetic and lied to public....before bursting out into laughter. And all it takes is keeping the public distracted and bribing the right people. Look at where the real key decisions get made and your search for the bribe-takers will get white hot.

The read sad part of all this is not that we are "redistributing wealth" to the third world, but a large amount of it also ends up in the pockets of the wealthy "connected" elite who collect the PTC before the projects even get started.  Look at Solyndra, and most of the others who collected huge amounts of taxpayer dollars and went belly up, never even accounting for the huge amounts they pocketed.  Since most of the politicians are connected one way or the other with lobbyists passing cash, they have a hard time ending the process.  They are not in it for GREEN . . . . oops . . . I guess they are.

While the "less fortunate" nations, like Bangladesh, just want to become like us, big consumers, burning all the fossil fuel they can get their hands on, because not doing that would be far worse than anything they have to fear from climate change.  How much more evidence does a simple person living in Maine or Vermont need to understand that we have been taken to the cleaners by Baldacci, Angus King, Dylan Vorhees et al?

and of course Arthur all of this was said , analyzed , decorticated, dissected , exposed , screamed , deconstructed, predicted , demolished ,  uttered , yelled , vociferated ,written , rewritten ,  rerewritten,advertised , to all the stone faced government employees , politicians and  justices  of the great state of Maine for years now. Something was maybe really wrong when the checks and balances system does  not work ??? I called it soft fascism .....you can still talk your head off and your head does not roll .

But we knew History was going to prove us right.

Now time for the Maine legislators to amend and bring a call for a moratorium and an emergency bill to rescind LD 2283.
