Simply Seize the Wind

Welcome to Winflex

Winflex LTD is a start-up company developing and implementing a unique wind turbine technology in order to manufacture wind turbines and license Winflex technology for mass production.

The Winflex wind turbine technology is characterized by:

  • Reliability and cost effectiveness.
  • Reduction of the wind turbine installation costs (by at least 50%).
  • Utilization in a wide spectrum of electrical power output.
  • High safety level.

The technology has been developed by Dr. Vladimir Kliatzkin, a leading scientist with more than 40 years of experience in energy production and accumulation systems for aviation, internal combustion engines and hybrid systems.

Technology

The WINFLEX technology is a new cost effective design for wind turbines. The WINFLEX wind turbine technology enables wind energy utilization as a real cost effective alternative to fossil fuel energy sources. The WINFLEX revolutionary technology, with the flexible rotor, reduces the cost by at least half and improves the efficiency dramatically. The safety level of these turbines is outstanding and has not yet been achieved by any other type of wind turbine technology currently on the market. Compared to known and available technologies, the WINFLEX system enables the kW installed cost to be reduced by at least 50%. Combined with high efficiency and low maintenance costs the ROI is reduced from 7-10 years for available products to only 3-5 years for the WINFLEX turbine. In cases where the government provides subsidies, the ROI for a best case scenario of a WINFLEX turbine can be as low as 2 years. The Global rate of wind turbine installations has grown rapidly over the past 10 years. Rising oil and gas prices, increased focus on pollution and environmental quality awareness, make wind turbine power a competitive and important alternative. The main advantages of wind turbines are the following:

  1. Free primary energy source.
  2. Endless and renewable energy.
  3. Devoid of emissions of any kind.
  4. Minor environmental restrictions.
  5. A "young technology" with a potential for increased efficiency and cost reduction.
  6. Available in a wide range of sizes all the way from residential to utility scale farms.
  7. Decentralized resource 8. High priority for government support.

Company

WINFLEX is an innovative wind turbine development and manufacturing company which currently employs 15 scientists and engineers. During the first decade of operations, WINFLEX designed, built, tested and successfully connected to the grid for over two years 2 POC turbines: 10 kW & 200 kW. WINFLEX's primary objective is to penetrate the market with a 1 MW turbine. As a first step, the company is now at the advanced stage of designing a commercial 130 kW unit. R&D activities are partially supported by the Israeli Ministry of Infrastructure. The WINFLEX technology is a reliable and cost effective solution for wind turbines at grid parity! The technology is feasible over a wide spectrum of electrical power outputs ranging from 100 kW up to multi MW scale.

Maine Center For Public Interest Reporting – Three Part Series: A CRITICAL LOOK AT MAINE’S WIND ACT

******** IF LINKS BELOW DON'T WORK, GOOGLE THEM*********

(excerpts) From Part 1 – On Maine’s Wind Law “Once the committee passed the wind energy bill on to the full House and Senate, lawmakers there didn’t even debate it. They passed it unanimously and with no discussion. House Majority Leader Hannah Pingree, a Democrat from North Haven, says legislators probably didn’t know how many turbines would be constructed in Maine if the law’s goals were met." . – Maine Center for Public Interest Reporting, August 2010 https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-power-bandwagon-hits-bumps-in-the-road-3/From Part 2 – On Wind and Oil Yet using wind energy doesn’t lower dependence on imported foreign oil. That’s because the majority of imported oil in Maine is used for heating and transportation. And switching our dependence from foreign oil to Maine-produced electricity isn’t likely to happen very soon, says Bartlett. “Right now, people can’t switch to electric cars and heating – if they did, we’d be in trouble.” So was one of the fundamental premises of the task force false, or at least misleading?" https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-swept-task-force-set-the-rules/From Part 3 – On Wind-Required New Transmission Lines Finally, the building of enormous, high-voltage transmission lines that the regional electricity system operator says are required to move substantial amounts of wind power to markets south of Maine was never even discussed by the task force – an omission that Mills said will come to haunt the state.“If you try to put 2,500 or 3,000 megawatts in northern or eastern Maine – oh, my god, try to build the transmission!” said Mills. “It’s not just the towers, it’s the lines – that’s when I begin to think that the goal is a little farfetched.” https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/flaws-in-bill-like-skating-with-dull-skates/

Sign up today and lend your voice and presence to the steadily rising tide that will soon sweep the scourge of useless and wretched turbines from our beloved Maine countryside. For many of us, our little pieces of paradise have been hard won. Did the carpetbaggers think they could simply steal them from us?

We have the facts on our side. We have the truth on our side. All we need now is YOU.
