LOOK OUT BELOW! Terraform Power (TERP) heading Down.......down.....

TerraForm Power

We're seeing the exact same price setup in shares of beleaguered clean power generation stock TerraForm Power  (TERP) . Like AEL, this $1.3 billion stock has been showing investors a classic descending triangle pattern, only TerraForm's price pattern is a much longer-term setup. For TerraForm, the big price level to watch out for is support down at $7.50.

Why all of the significance at that $7.50 level? It all comes down to buyers and sellers. Price patterns, such as this descending triangle setup in TerraForm, are a good quick way to identify what's going on in the price action, but they're not the actual reason a stock is tradable. Instead, the "why" comes down to basic supply and demand for shares of the stock itself.

The $7.50 support level in TerraForm Power is a place where there has been an excess of demand for shares; in other words, it's a spot where buyers have been more eager to step in and buy shares than sellers have been to take gains. That's what makes a breakdown below $7.50 so significant -- the move would mean that sellers are finally strong enough to absorb all of the excess demand at that price level. If $7.50 gets materially busted this, then Shake Shack becomes a sell.

Solar is as big a fraud as wind. To wit: Recently Red Sox announcers had the President of Vivint Solar in the press box . I can only speculate that John Henry may be an investor. My point is that he stated that Massachusetts residential electric rates are 22 centsKWH. A look at my recent CMP bill rate is 14.05 cents/KHW. Forewarned is forearmed. Why would a homeowner  enable Vivant to receive the federal income tax credit, accelerated depreciation and trade a subsidized federal tax credit that will be received by Vivint because they are the owners of the solar equipment installed on the customer's roof? The ratepayer receives a reduction of 20-30 percent off their artifiicially  high rate of 22 cents KWH,so they end up paying the same as me, while Vivant gets all the gravy.  I find it hard to believe that Massachusetts ratepayers could succumb to such a scam.  Not to be outdone  Vivant must sue Sunedison for their failed acquisition deal. Good luck with that and good luck to the town of Eastbrook and many others for the payola they will never receive from these corrupt crony capitalists. And by they where is our public advocate in all of this?? and the PUC. At least Paul Lepage can see the fraud and the legislature luckily sustained his veto of LD 1649 recently.

(excerpts) From Part 1 – On Maine’s Wind Law “Once the committee passed the wind energy bill on to the full House and Senate, lawmakers there didn’t even debate it. They passed it unanimously and with no discussion. House Majority Leader Hannah Pingree, a Democrat from North Haven, says legislators probably didn’t know how many turbines would be constructed in Maine if the law’s goals were met." . – Maine Center for Public Interest Reporting, August 2010 https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-power-bandwagon-hits-bumps-in-the-road-3/From Part 2 – On Wind and Oil Yet using wind energy doesn’t lower dependence on imported foreign oil. That’s because the majority of imported oil in Maine is used for heating and transportation. And switching our dependence from foreign oil to Maine-produced electricity isn’t likely to happen very soon, says Bartlett. “Right now, people can’t switch to electric cars and heating – if they did, we’d be in trouble.” So was one of the fundamental premises of the task force false, or at least misleading?" https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-swept-task-force-set-the-rules/From Part 3 – On Wind-Required New Transmission Lines Finally, the building of enormous, high-voltage transmission lines that the regional electricity system operator says are required to move substantial amounts of wind power to markets south of Maine was never even discussed by the task force – an omission that Mills said will come to haunt the state.“If you try to put 2,500 or 3,000 megawatts in northern or eastern Maine – oh, my god, try to build the transmission!” said Mills. “It’s not just the towers, it’s the lines – that’s when I begin to think that the goal is a little farfetched.” https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/flaws-in-bill-like-skating-with-dull-skates/
