Green New Deal Is Bad Deal for All Americans
For close to a decade, the Left has looked at a “Green New Deal” as the only solution to supposed manmade climate change. According to the eco-Left, the Green New Deal -- a massive federal government stimulus program coupled with a rapid and total transformation from fossil fuels to renewable energy -- is the only way to avert environmental doom.
Just last month, shortly after winning election to the U.S. House of Representatives, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) said, “We have 10 years left to plan and implement a Green New Deal before cataclysmic climate disaster.”
Although the Green New Deal would be a sweeping piece of legislation that reshapes all sectors of the U.S. economy, it primarily focuses on climate change. Here’s a taste of what the Green New Deal would do:

Scientist Bullied By University Of Washington Faculty, Students For Climate Change Heresies Speaks Out
Climate scientist Cliff Mass is speaking out against “academic political bullying” from University of Washington faculty and students, stemming from Mass’s rejection of a carbon tax initiative favored by activists.
“Science can only flourish when there is tolerance for a diversity of viewpoints and ideas,” Mass told The Daily Caller News Foundation. “Name calling and politicization of science are toxic to the scientific enterprise, and undermines our credibility in the general community.”

Washington State Voters Reject Carbon Dioxide Tax, Again
For the second time in two years, Washington State voters rejected a proposal to tax carbon dioxide emissions.
Fifty-six percent of those voting in Washington’s midterm elections said no to a referendum that would have made the state the first in the nation to tax carbon dioxide emissions and the first government anywhere to impose the tax through a direct popular vote.

House Democrats Plan New Traffic Tax
Incoming House Transportation Chairman Peter DeFazio (D-Ore.) is planning to propose a new tax that would penalize drivers by taxing them at a higher rate when they experience traffic.
The traffic tax would be part of a new pilot program for a “vehicle miles traveled” (VMT) tax which would replace the federal gas tax and instead charge motorists based on a per-mile fee.
In order for a VMT system to work, GPS systems would be installed in vehicles which would track vehicle movement and measure miles traveled in order to calculate the tax. Rep. DeFazio would then use the guise of replacing the gas tax with a VMT tax to charge differential rates based on highway congestion.

UN colludes with climate protesters to disrupt & shut down Trump admin. pro-energy event at UN summit
Like clockwork, when U.S. Special Advisor the to President, P. Wells Griffith of the Energy Department was speaking, the protesters began to laugh and chant about how the Trump administration was “funny” because they did not want to keep coal, oil and gas “in the ground.”
The protesters chanted “keep it in the ground” (fossil fuel energy which accounts for over 80% of world energy) to both the Trump administration officials as well as the climate skeptics who were seated in the front row.
The UN-supported protesters verbally targeted “climate deniers” Marc Morano of CFACT’s Climate Depot and author of the new skeptical book, and CFACT’s Craig Rucker and Adam Houser as well as author and writer Rupert Darwall, all of whom were sitting in the front row.
Climate protesters yelled at the climate skeptics, calling them “deniers” and “profiteers” and they also declared that “nuclear energy is genocide.”
