Global Warming: Science or Political Science? (by John Droz, Jr.)

The bottom line is that AGW activists want us: a) to accept a hypothesis that has not followed traditional Science protocols, and b) to fork over $100± Trillion to implement “solutions” (like industrial wind energy) that are scientifically unproven. What could go wrong?

MUST SEE: Sean Hannity Declares War on Media Liars and the Deep State

After watching this video, it is clear that Hannity will be one of the lead prosecutors in the upcoming prosecution to be played out in the public court. This TOUR DE FORCE is a must-see video. (From the 3/26/19 airing of "Hannity" - if the weblink expires, simply google 3/26/19 Hannity video)

I suspect the renewable energy discussion including its own media lying will end up being similarly examined - at a previously never seen level of scrutiny.

Tucker Carlson Wonders What Jeff Zucker Did To Earn ‘First Amendment Award’

“We spent the last two years almost alone in Washington, by the way, defending the idea that the unpopular ought to be allowed to say uncomfortable things in public,” Carlson began. “That was our understanding of free speech. But this is 2019. The point of the First Amendment Award is now just the opposite. It goes to the media executive who has worked most tirelessly to punish the people he doesn’t agree with and force them to be quiet. Given those new criteria, this year’s award went to—of course—CNN president Jeff Zucker.”

Carlson then mentioned that Zucker, who notably led the charge to get Alex Jones kicked off social media platforms, also chose not to defend Fox News last week when the Democratic National Committee decided to ban the network from hosting a Democratic primary debate.

My class in research methodology was a few years back but from my take away:

First, if you want to explore the hypothesis that climate change is taking place, you tackle the null hypothesis, that climate change is not taking place.  Once your satisfied that there is existing evidence to support either the main hypothesis or the null hypothesis, you can look at statistical significance of that evidence and design experiments to support the hypothesis you've chosen. Then comes correlations, causations hypotheses. Only when you've got statistically significant evidence of your hypothesis that climate change does exist, can you start hypothesizing about causation factors. And anthropological hypothesis would need to also go under the null hypothesis test as well.

Maybe all these climate scientists have done the studies under the strictest research methodology  protocols. I'd like to see evidence that they have, until then, I'm not join the circus of alarmists.

Maine Center For Public Interest Reporting – Three Part Series: A CRITICAL LOOK AT MAINE’S WIND ACT

******** IF LINKS BELOW DON'T WORK, GOOGLE THEM*********

(excerpts) From Part 1 – On Maine’s Wind Law “Once the committee passed the wind energy bill on to the full House and Senate, lawmakers there didn’t even debate it. They passed it unanimously and with no discussion. House Majority Leader Hannah Pingree, a Democrat from North Haven, says legislators probably didn’t know how many turbines would be constructed in Maine if the law’s goals were met." . – Maine Center for Public Interest Reporting, August 2010 https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-power-bandwagon-hits-bumps-in-the-road-3/From Part 2 – On Wind and Oil Yet using wind energy doesn’t lower dependence on imported foreign oil. That’s because the majority of imported oil in Maine is used for heating and transportation. And switching our dependence from foreign oil to Maine-produced electricity isn’t likely to happen very soon, says Bartlett. “Right now, people can’t switch to electric cars and heating – if they did, we’d be in trouble.” So was one of the fundamental premises of the task force false, or at least misleading?" https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-swept-task-force-set-the-rules/From Part 3 – On Wind-Required New Transmission Lines Finally, the building of enormous, high-voltage transmission lines that the regional electricity system operator says are required to move substantial amounts of wind power to markets south of Maine was never even discussed by the task force – an omission that Mills said will come to haunt the state.“If you try to put 2,500 or 3,000 megawatts in northern or eastern Maine – oh, my god, try to build the transmission!” said Mills. “It’s not just the towers, it’s the lines – that’s when I begin to think that the goal is a little farfetched.” https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/flaws-in-bill-like-skating-with-dull-skates/
