EPA to repeal Clean Power Plan, consider replacement
The Trump administration plans to withdraw former President Barack Obama’s signature climate rule in the coming days, arguing that EPA overstepped its legal authority in calling for a shift away from coal power, according to a draft of the proposal obtained by POLITICO.
EPA has not determined whether it will replace the rule nor “if it will do so, when it will do so and what form that rule will take,” according to the withdrawal text prepared for the Federal Register. The agency will solicit feedback in a separate advanced notice of proposed rulemaking.

Good news I hope. This plan, instituted unconstitutionally by the Obama administration, was nothing but a ploy to push renewables like wind and solar on the populace. Thinking that Hillary would be elected, they thought it would just continue on into perpetuity. Good common sense business and economics have proved that this is a wasteful plan that does NOTHING for the CO2 output, as if that is really a problem.
The next part of this that should be looked at is the wasteful addition of ethanol to automobile fuels. It adds CO2 due to the manufacture of ethanol, raises the cost of fuel, causes engine failure, reduces mileage, makes fuel unstable, and raises food prices due the the use of corn and grain. There is a reason that the aviation industry does NOT allow ethanol in their fuel. We should all take notice and work to bring this to the attention of anyone who drives.
