Censored Post --Concerning Property Values, Wind turbines, and Blatant Liars!(This post was censored out of Ellsworth American BTW, so enjoy!)

Blatant Unrepentant Liars

I recently sold a property 2.2 miles from a wind project at 1/2 its accessed evaluation( and I was lucky to sell it at all)
Anyone who believes First Wind/SunEdison / Terraform Power is "nummah than a hake" or a past patient of a frontal lobotomy. Remember this too , infra sound (low frequency noise emitted by these massive feckless turbines) is heard and annoying up to 2.5 miles by many people. Those within 4000 feet (the golden distance for litigation from damages), are sometimes harmed by the noise generated.See the book "Wind Turbine Syndrome" see Nina Pierpoint MD.Also see Killing Maine by Mike Bond at Amazon.com.

There indeed is a place reserved for liars and con artists like Baldwin, and it is called Hades , where he and the wind industry belong.
Also please remember this , sellers and abutters of wind projects often cannot disclose their losses because of legal settlements that have "Squelch Clauses" designed by the wind company, so the loss is kept secret.

I can't believe the Ellsworth American would censor this - They have been the most reliable news outlet for reporting the truth about wind. Hancock County is getting pounded by small unnecessary wind projects. The Bull Hill project has the highest songbird bird mortality rate of any wind project on New England and the Ellsworth American knows it. Call them up - Find out what was objectionable. They are readily reachable - and believe me - They do not like wind!

A review of Condemnation Blight would lead people to the realization of what may be happening to a degree in areas.

Time on the market, value at listing, vs value at sale formulas would establish what is known in an eminent domain takeover as the path toward Condemnation Blight. An act which intentionally decrease the values until such time that tax revenues warrant an Eminent Domain takeover justified by increased tax revenue generation by the receiving owners.

The windustry's propaganda should come as no surprise. They can quote "studies" that show little or no impact to property values because their studies rely on actual sales and ignore the homes/properties that never sell. A more useful (and honest) yardstick might be time on the market. Take a drive around any planned or existing wind project and you'll be amazed at the number of for sale signs. Of course no real estate agent will step forward and admit this because it would hurt business.

Because the windustry keeps insisting that their projects do no harm to property values, when are we going to demand a property value guarantee before issuing permits? Call their bluff and force them to either put up or shut up!

If you have a home near a turbine and you've given up trying to sell it, I have a suggestion. Spend a few bucks on an ad in the local paper inviting people to spend the night in your house to experience what it's like living next to a turbine. I'd bet that within hours of the ad appearing, the turbine owners will be knocking on your door with an offer!

The Gag requirement resulting from any monies, whether gift or settlement is factual. Beaver Ridge's 3 turbines created objections but only those that did not receive funds could raise that objection. Resulting in few. The person that had property beneath these turbines has recently moved to Colorado and enduring the various intrusions upon their lives since the project was completed. ENOUGH  was getting to be TO MUCH.

Maine Center For Public Interest Reporting – Three Part Series: A CRITICAL LOOK AT MAINE’S WIND ACT

(excerpts) From Part 1 – On Maine’s Wind Law “Once the committee passed the wind energy bill on to the full House and Senate, lawmakers there didn’t even debate it. They passed it unanimously and with no discussion. House Majority Leader Hannah Pingree, a Democrat from North Haven, says legislators probably didn’t know how many turbines would be constructed in Maine if the law’s goals were met." . – Maine Center for Public Interest Reporting, August 2010 https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-power-bandwagon-hits-bumps-in-the-road-3/From Part 2 – On Wind and Oil Yet using wind energy doesn’t lower dependence on imported foreign oil. That’s because the majority of imported oil in Maine is used for heating and transportation. And switching our dependence from foreign oil to Maine-produced electricity isn’t likely to happen very soon, says Bartlett. “Right now, people can’t switch to electric cars and heating – if they did, we’d be in trouble.” So was one of the fundamental premises of the task force false, or at least misleading?" https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/wind-swept-task-force-set-the-rules/From Part 3 – On Wind-Required New Transmission Lines Finally, the building of enormous, high-voltage transmission lines that the regional electricity system operator says are required to move substantial amounts of wind power to markets south of Maine was never even discussed by the task force – an omission that Mills said will come to haunt the state.“If you try to put 2,500 or 3,000 megawatts in northern or eastern Maine – oh, my god, try to build the transmission!” said Mills. “It’s not just the towers, it’s the lines – that’s when I begin to think that the goal is a little farfetched.” https://www.pinetreewatchdog.org/flaws-in-bill-like-skating-with-dull-skates/
