Alice McKay Barnett Petitioner / V. Maine Land Use Planning Commission / Petition to remove Milton Township, Oxford County from the Expedited Permitting Area for Wind Energy Development
/ Petition for review of final agency action
Petitioning Decision in Criterion 76. page 18 of decision dated December 17, 2016...
"With regard to the principal value for natural character,.......existing ....wind energy development nearby"
This decision will cause an
accumulative adverse affect of harms
listed in the perpectual hold harmless easements sold by Wind Companies.
- turbine noise levels
-sound wave emissions
-disturbance or emanations of any kind or nature
that are created in the ordinary course of operations or maintenance of wind facility.
Heartbreaking that the western Maine mountains are being industrialized in the name of corporate welfare.
Good luck Alice. Milton should have been removed. Maine's expedited wind law should be repealed. No industry should be fast tracked through the environmental process, especially an industry that has such a negative impact on the environment and the residents. Corruption still runs rampant. I sure hope Milton is not where you moved to.
