Rememeber, all wind projects in Maine are privately owned and power from these projects are sold by power purchase agreements to utilities, companies like Google or sold as a merchant plant into the ISO-NE administered wholesale market. These power purchase agreements are contracts between the wind project owner and the buyer. The state's only part in this relationship is to force the Maine investor-owned utilities into to buying the power and reselling it as if they were a merchant plant. Obviously, the state can not force utilities in other states to buy this power. By the way, the cost to Maine ratepayers from forced power purchase agreements on CMP and Versant from 2018 to 2025 is $65,996,299.00 and climbing with each passing day.

Also, remember Seth Berry wants Maine people to cough up several tens of billions of dollars to buy CMP and Versant.
