I find it interesting that the 'passage rate' of migrants recorded by Podolsky and Famous (as described in the Downeast magazine article) was 'low' at Vinalhaven..given that less than 3 miles away, at Metinic Island, USF&W and UMO reported up to 1/4…

My parents used to be members when they were alive and it seems to me this organization, founded by Ted Edison to preserve and protect the quality of life for the island would be very much against anything that would endanger that.
