Alexander, welcome to the Citizens Task Force on Wind Power, an organization that was born in November 2009 out of desperation when we realized what was about to happen to Maine if Governor Baldacci, and a misguided DEP, LURC and MCDC had their way .
We have analyzed every angle on wind power, the medical, economic, technological, environmental and political. We have knocked on the doors of every state agency, only to be met with arrogance, rejection, mockery and obfuscation - pretty much what you described in your oped.
But times are changing and we are gaining momentum and we need all the brains and common sense we can get. That is why we are proud to welcome you to our organization. Please invite your friends to join us.

I know you know what we are fighting. We need alternatives to the grid. Mainers are essentially independent . We need engineers as you and Jim Labreque to keep experimenting and inventing.
