Thank you, sir. Mr. LaBrecque has told me a lot about you as well. From what I can tell you don't see eye to eye on every issue but he says mostly kind words about you:) This is not the last of my letters and involvement in public actions. I am currently writing about the offshore wind project for the Downeast Coastal Press and the Ellsworth American. The regulation that comes with putting a wind farm in 300 feet of water will starve Maine's lobstermen out. Since we can no longer fish for herring in Maine the price of bait has gone from $6 to $31 per bushel. The price for diesel fuel is going through the roof and the conflict in the middle east is bound to make it down right unreasonable. Meanwhile lobstermen were selling lobsters for $2 per pound. Machias Savings Bank had about 300 repossessed boats as of last summer. When those wind turbines come into our waters, the fishermen's ground will be regulated until they are all out of business. People need to wake up and understand that their livelihood and childrens future is at stake here.
