I thought the only concerns growing about climate change are those of the "green" shysters who are seeing their scams related to the scam of climate change being found out by an increasing number of people.

....................As concerns about climate change have grown, many people, businesses and institutions are switching to technologies that run on electricity rather than on fossil fuels.
“The two big factors that are driving this growth are the electrification of heating and transportation,” Colapietro said.
Heat pumps and electric vehicles tend to be more efficient than oil or gas-powered heaters and traditional combustion engine cars. And electricity in the United States, including New England and Maine, is increasingly coming from cleaner sources such as solar and wind..................................

Efficiency Maine Trust has changed their mission from "Efficiency" to "Electrification" Rebates for heat pumps and EVs, but Stoddard (EMT Director) expressed fears during an EUT hearing that the increasing costs of electricity developing with state mandated increased greenhouse gas ( aka carbon dioxide ) reductions will undermine these incentives. He is right, but continues to seek millions of dollars from Maine ratepayers by direct tax on bills and indirect taxes attributle to RGGI.
Electricity demand is falling because the price is too high. The price is too high because of energy policies devised by politicians having no business in telling the public how electricity should be generated and paid for. The PUC has projected 40 cents per kilowatt hour electricity is coming.
"As concerns about climate change have grown, many people, businesses and institutions are switching to technologies that run on electricity rather than on fossil fuels." An irresponsible statement that the author fails to mention who said it. Most people have come to the conclusion that climate change is not a concern and most probably a hoax.
Stoddard says “Increases to the grid cost money,” Does that mean a 2 billion dollar+ transmission line that Philip Bartlett, NESCOE director, coerced ISO-NE in proposing for construction to allow a wind project in Aroostook County that isn't even in ISO-NE aurthorized territory is a prohibitive cost to the EMT director?
What the hell does this statement mean, "Maine has legally mandated goals" According to federal law and EPA regulations, carbon dioxide is not harmful and is not regulated as so many other things are within the oversight and overburdensome purview of the feds. Maine politicians have crippled Maine with their fights against United States doctrines.
This is the very worse of the worst reports and why the Maine Monitor cannot be trusted.
