Maine has joined about two dozen states, plus more than a dozen cities, counties and other locales, in a lawsuit against the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to challenge the Trump administration’s repeal of a scientific finding that had been the central basis for U.S. action to regulate greenhouse gas emissions and fight climate change.
