ISO-NE will not shut down oil plants and wait for wind and solar to come online and the thought of having the only power of last resort to be batteries is disturbing and idiotic.

But the goons are not slowing down. The carbon dioxide taxing agency, RGGI is accelerating the imposed cap on emissions so severely that fossil fuel plants will be dropping like flies. Before that occurs, brace yourself for 40 cents per kilowatt hour electricity and a big fight between the U S Department of Energy and the states who adopted these grid killing policies.
