Here is a little nugget from the Maine Department of Energy Resources copied from their report:

"Maine’s total in-state electricity generation has increased from approximately 12 million MWh in 2015 to nearly 15 million MWh in 2024, as shown in Figure 2. The use of natural gas to produce electricity in Maine more than doubled from roughly 3 million MWh in 2015 to over 6 million MWh in 2024."  

So, all the millions of dollars that Maine people have paid for Net Energy Billing, Renewable Energy Portfolio increases, Efficiency Maine Trust heat pump rebates, Long Term Renewable Energy Project Contracts, Regional Greenhouse Gas Emissions, Low Income Assisstance Handouts which was supposed to get fossil fuels out of Maine electrical generation, only doubled natural gas-fired generation. Thank You, Angus King and Joe Baldacci and all the other legislative fools who misled us.

Why isn't this news reported in Maine's newspapers and tv stations?
